Eagle Sighting!

I looked up into the sky here in Florida and saw several birds. Usually when you see more than one, they turn out to be buzzards. But it appeared that there were crows chasing some bigger birds so I went inside and grabbed my camera!

It turned out I was seeing two large eagles!

They are some of the most beautiful birds to spot!

I was so happy that I took the chance to take photos.

And even more surprising was this photo.

An osprey was in the 'flock' too!

So there turned out to be 2 eagles, an osprey and several crows....

and they didn't appear to be getting along well with others! lol

I’m joining Saturday’s critters HERE
and I’d Rather B Birdin’.

Have you seen anything out of the ordinary this week?

Nothing out of the ordinary here in NoAla but I have to say, is there anything more majestic than an eagle in flight?

Hello, it is cool to see the eagles. The crows are brave to chase the eagles away. Great series of photos. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!

I've seen eagles in Washington (state), but so far, not here. I'll keep an eye out for them!

Hi Y'all!

What great photos. Osprey and Eagles don't get along well. Tried to catch a photo of them chasing last week; they were moving so fast only caught water and sky, no birds.

Y'all come on by,

You really know your birds! Eagles have returned after being endangered and that is wonderful to see.

how awesome! i have yet to see a bald eagle in the wild. there's a pair nesting about 15-20 miles away at a wildlife refuge. maybe some of their young will swing this way. ;)

Great shots, Diane. It's like an air show - with birds in place of airplanes. We often see bald eagles here and I never tire of them.
