Stay inside or…..

…go Shopping!

roadtoooDSCN1950

It’s too hot to play outside!

lakeDSCN1944

And yes, I took these photos while driving.

(feel free to lecture me in the comments and if your my hubby, yes, I was driving your Subaru! teehee)

roadtooDSCN1949

But it was a beautiful Florida afternoon!

greenfenceDSCN1942

With lots of pretty fences along the way.

I was going to the ‘K’ store with a $10 coupon and 15% off for Seniors Day! So what did I buy?

DSCN1959

A pair of denim capris (they look darker in person) and a navy and white striped top. If you know me, you know I ‘need’ another navy and white striped top. I only have a ‘few’!

And I got some nice H2O body wash. Oh and some unmentionables that I did NOT photograph. But they are cotton and matching and nice for under summer clothes.

And I saw FENCES along the way!

This is kind of an optical illusion I think! Look at the powerlines! They appear to be going over my head!

I'm joining Tex for Good Fences!

I must admit, I've taken my share of shots driving down the interstate.

While you have navy clothes Diane, I have black! And I need to do some unmentionable shopping as well. If I went to the ER in my present undergarments the nurses would write down the condition of them were not very good!!:)

I'm guilty too. When you want to shoot it you just shoot it. Great post for today. My kind of outfit too.

i liked coming along with you! nice views along the way...i'm laughing about your comment on driving your husband's car...i have my husband's car today as he took mine in for an oil change and he's very particular about his "sparky" so later today when i have to take my boys to weight lifting, i am going to have them hang out the windows and text him a picture of it and "sparky" yelling "help, i'm being kidnapped"! :D

Sounds like a good day to shop out of the heat! We're the opposite here this week. It is really chilly and I don't want to go outside. I will admit I took a photo while driving yesterday but there wasn't any cars around me. lol I don't usually do such things. Really. I don't. :)

A day of shopping, sightseeing and taking photographs. And without hubby? What could be better?

We tend to head to the mall shopping when it is too hot outside, too!

Certainly good fences and very good buys too.

I scrolled down to some previous posts I'd missed ...
The dolls look very cool, and the snow and sunset start and end your post perfectly.

Glad that 'Colin' treated you kindly, these type of storms can be bad!

All the best Jan

Oh I like the outfit! I've always liked anything nautical and navy. It looks so summery! I still have my youngest daughter's little navy sailor's dress which her own little girl will be able to wear before long. :-) I also like the last photo with all the high lines! I hope you're having a good week.

They DO look like they're above your head. And love the capri denims and the striped top. Perfect for summer.

It's 91 degrees here...I think I'll go shop.

You are brave to snap photos while driving. I'd run off the road into the fence if I tried it. - Very pretty shots of the land and it's fencing. Nice top/shorts, Navy is a good color.

I have attempted to drive and take pictures, but I am better off stopping. I am not that coordinated and with the traffic here, not safe.

Oh the lecture I'll give you my friend. Hee Hee. Glad you got there and back safely. Shall we be seeing you in your new outfit soon?

I wish we were hot - anything would be better than 54 and raining. Last year on this day I was outdoors on the deck with my Featherweight sewing machine, sewing doll clothes while listening to the birds sing. Today I even had to turn the furnace on for a little while - thinking of making a winter stew for dinner to warm us up. What happened to that promised "warmer than normal" spring and summer they predicted? Did they give our summer to you? Happy hugs my dear.
