December Flowers for Mosaic Monday

We are fortunate to have flowers blooming year round here in Florida.

I have blooms on my Azaleas right now, the Vincas are still in full bloom as well as the Society Garlic and Mexican Petunias, and my Camelia is just finishing up. (none pictured)

And my Christmas cactus is just starting to bloom inside! (pics coming soon!)

(I used colored pencil in Photoscape for these)

(and added some snow in picmonkey on this one)

Lots of roses on the knock out roses too!

But what are these?

I was amazed when we moved here and I saw Poinsettias growing as much as 5 ft tall and blooming in December in the flower beds!

Aren’t they gorgeous?

wow Diane, I love the pictures. I love all the flowers. I have seen poinsettias over 5 feet tall in Cancun , Mexico. I was amazed...it just seemed like lilacs to the people who see them all the time that tall. Blessings for a fun week there. xoxo, Susie

Beautiful Sis! We've had a bit of a freeze so all the flowers are gone now! Hugs!

When I was in Mexico they have huge bushes of poinsettias...like 11 or 12 feet high full of blooms. I didn't know they were in FL but it makes sense with your climate. So lovely to have blooms if you're not going to have snow! LOL!

Oh my goodness, Diane, they're all so beautiful. I love the effects you used on the first photos, but those poinsettias in the neighbor's flower garden are amazing. I love poinsettias. When I lived in Bolivia for a year, I remember poinsettias growing all over people's backyards. Huge plants! So pretty. Have a wonderful Florida day! xo

I don't think I'll ever stop marveling at the beautiful flowers that bloom here in December (and January...). Yours are stunning. Love the colored pencil treatment ... and the snow, as long as it is only in a photo effect )))).

I love seeing poinsettias growing outside in the south. They certainly wouldn't last long here, we have a good bit of snow already and an extreme cold snap coming this weekend.

Those red roses are beautiful, Diane. They must look so pretty on your table. I was wondering what setting did you use for the snow? I use picmonkey once in awhile just on my fairy pics. Your neighbor's poinsettias are wonderful. What a sight to look outside and see red poinsettias for Christmas!
