Late Afternoon Walks

I haven’t walked much lately but I plan to start walking after dinner now that the time has changed.

I think these are hybrid Mallards.

I have lots of ID books but I still have trouble with the ducks here in Florida!

(a pic from another day)

I’m joining Saturday’s critters HERE
and I’d Rather B Birdin’.

I was overwhelmed by the sweet comments when I asked for prayers this week. I knew if everyone was sweet to me that it would make me cry…and it did! My husband is still undergoing tests and then we will get results and talk to the doctor again about a diagnosis. He is very weak and in a lot of pain. Please continue to keep us in your prayers.

Diane, I am so sorry that Mr. Lavender is feeling punky. It is difficult to not feel well and so difficult to have those dearest to us struggling. Praying for health and healing and peace in the storm and lots of sleep.

You may be amused by this, but I have been reading a book of essays where the writer describes in vivid detail all the birds he sees; however, when it comes to the ducks he just says, "a myriad of ducks." ☺

We don't get in as many walks during the cold winter months, but hopefully that will all change soon.
Sending lots more positive thoughts and vibes down south to you and your husband.

Sending more prayer - and remember to take care of YOU as you care for your husband, and may he get answers that have resolutions and you can both move onward!

I love ducks - thought about having some here on the farm but I heard they are not very bright.. lol..

Oh, Diane. I was gone last week and didn't check blogs. I had no idea you needed prayers for your husband. I so understand how awful it is to be "in limbo" and it seems like that happens a lot as we wait for test results and wait anxiously for answers. I am so sorry to hear you are dealing with issues. Please drop me a line if/when you can and let me know if/how I can help you. I have been through all those same emotions I know you are feeling right now. Much love to you- xo Diana

My dear Diane - I read your post the other day and tried to write a comment but it just wouldn't let me. I guess blogger was messing up again. But even though I wasn't able to write I have been keeping your husband in my prayers since then. I pray that all come out alright and some peace for the both of you. Many blessings to you both.

Keep the faith my friend
Hugs
Pat
