'A Day Late and a Dollar Short' Mosaic

Well, I'm not quite a full day late or even a dollar short...but guess what?

I have a 'new' computer! It's actually an Acer netbook (that we already had) that has been upgraded to Windows 10 and a new solid state hard drive installed.  I was having trouble with my second, newer netbook so now I have a new one...or is this one the old one?! hahaha!

I'm loving it so far. It's so much faster! But we are still working on getting things installed and I just got Picassa .....just now! So I made a quick mosaic to join in the fun today.

Yesterday we hiked the Blue Run trail in Dunnellon. We parked in a different parking lot and took a natural trail that joins the paved trail. It was an adventure!

Lots of boats on the water and I liked the way the water rippled in this photo.

I hope now I can visit more and keep up a little better. My old computer had gotten so slow that a lot of blogs wouldn't fully load. And then it started crashing...which is always VERY SCARY!!!

And speaking of SCARY....

are you sure we're on the right trail?  😲

Happy Mosaic Monday everyone from Red Net #1!

I’m joining Mosaic Monday HERE.

Love the picassa....looks like scrapbooking! After seeing that sign, I would be afraid to hike there! Did you do backup of your old computer? If I had it, I would have my son clean it up (the program files). Usually then it runs faster. Well things get old, and I see you got a new notebook!

Congratulations on your new 'old' computer! Whatever works!!
Your mosaic is beautiful! Just look at all that lush greenery! Exotic!

I don't know about you two, but I am definitely on the wrong trail. "Molest" seems to be a very strong word in this situation. Don't they mean "tease"? "Poke"? "Bother"? "Provoke"? Anything but molest. Gheesh...

Glad you got your computer updated! What pretty trails you hike.

I'm glad your 'new' old computer is working so great for you Diane. I have used Picasa for photo storage for years and enjoy it a lot. I edit most of my photos in it too and it's so easy to use. Your photos look so nice there with all the sunshine and I'm sure lots of heat too. Have a beautiful week.

Oh, that sign would have me feeling a little jittery, too! Around here we have 'cougar sighting' signs, so I don't know which is worse! Everything looks so green and lush. Glad you got your computer fixed - nothing is more frustrating than a slow, crashing computer! xx Karen

Diane, Haha, get off that trail. :):) I was talking about you to my daughter yesterday....about how you always have great nature and bird pictures. :) Blessings, xoxo, Susie

I was thinking how nice it would be to go kayaking down that river until I saw your last picture.

Gorgeous photos! Also wanted to tell you that I just finished 'The Old Man' by Thomas Perry. Couldn't put it down, and wanted to thank you for the recommendation over at Terra Garden. Best book I've read this year!:)

Glad you have a computer that works...nothing quite so frustrating as trying to do something and the computer hanging up.

As to the last sign, they don't have to worry about me. I have no desire to get close enough to one to do either one!

These are really nice pictures of the water at Blue Run Trail. I bet you're so excited to get a new computer. Isn't it awful when blogs run slow or freeze on us? It's so frustrating, and there are a few that always do that.

Thank you for the birthday wishes today. It really made my day, Diane.

love, ~Sheri

So glad we don't have signs like that here in the UK :) Certainly wouldn't want to molest an alligator!!
Have a great week :)

Hi Diane, What a lovely day for a hike. The water is lovely with the ripples behind the boat. I hope you have another nice day today. Congrats on the "new" computer.

What a beautiful hike. The water is so calm and smooth. Glad you have a new computer to play with. Stay away from those gators!

Love the Picassa, too . . . I have been using it for years. I have wondered a lot about alligators on your hikes through the beautiful sunshine state. When we visited my brother we saw them everywhere.

My computer crashed a couple of months ago after really acting up, so I just took everything off of it and took it back to the beginning. It is working great now. Love your photos, sweet friend, but stay away from those gators. xo Laura

I am happy that you are up and running with a new computer. I love the mosaic at the top. I used to have picassa. Now I am thinking I should install it again. Can't remember why I got rid of it.

Diane, computer issues can be so frustrating. I'm so glad you have an upgrade! Your mosaics are so lovely--The water shots are so pretty and calming. Now, the last shot tells me I'll not be joining you on your hike! Be careful. ♥

Our technical toys are great when they work, for me it's a new printer giving me grief.
Beautiful scenery except when one has to be on the lookout for alligators. Molest? Who in their right mind would want to tangle with one. lol

Diane, I'm glad you have a working computer now. I know I need my computer fix!! I can't imagine what I'd do if I came across an alligator. No thank you!

Hi Diane, thanks for telling me about 'Cross Creek' (movie) We enjoyed it very much. I am surprised that she was such a heavy drinker...maybe thats what enabled her to live in such an isolated place?? and, I found the book at the Good Will....what fun!

Wow, love the photos of the water, especially the rippled one. Just beautiful! So glad you got a new device that's faster and works better. Hope it's easy to learn and that you'll love using it. I'm assuming that you did not feed the alligator. :-) Hope you're having a good day, Diane! xo

Congrats on the new computer Diane, always a lot of tweaking to do when replacing one. At least it is for me. I'm not always as organized with files etc...as I should be.

That trail photo is amazing. And yes, the last one is scary. A sign never seen in Canada, that's for sure.😊

Have a wonderful day.🌞🌞

What a collection of lovely images. So tranquil, except for the last one I definitely would avoid that trail. :)

How exciting to get your netbook upgraded, maybe I need to see what the options are for mine as well. It runs so slow too. Glad to hear that your upgrade went well! I love the pictures of the beautiful river as you walked, but that sign, oh my! Do you have an escape plan should you see one of them? So wonderful to get out and enjoy the beauty of the Lord's creation around you, I always enjoy my visits with you :) Hugs!
