Cuteness ALERT!!! Baby Hawks!!!

Sit back and relax because I have some cute photos to share with you today!

We heard them first...crying !!

Then we looked up into a TALL TALL TREE....

and saw a nest with TWO baby hawks!

Hubby had his camera....

and I had mine...

 Click....

 Click....

Click!

And we saw Mama (or Papa) all along the trail! (yes we finally got back to hiking)

She even perched on a tree near the bridge.

Looking for something to catch to feed those babies.

Because they are CRYING! They are LOUD! And they are HUNGRY!!!

 Gotta FLY and find MORE!!!

 Aren't babies the absolute cutest?

Red Shouldered Hawks seen at Blue Run Park in Dunnellon, FL.

I’m joining Saturday’s critters HERE

They are adorable! And in the third picture, he is looking right at you! And you even found the mom! Baby birds always look so mad. I love the colors in the quilt! And the name of your blog...lavender may be my favorite scent.

Diane, their eyes are HUGE! And they are adorable. Hawks are such strong beautiful creatures. Though I can't trust that Little Bear is safe outside by herself. Too many hawks and such. xo

I loved your pictures of the baby hawks. They do look mad, obviously they are not just hungry, but "h-angry".

Wonderful pictures Diane. Of course being a birder I need to know what species of hawk. is that a Red-shouldered Hawk?

Awwwwwwwww, so precious these are Diane!! What awesome captures, and each one shows so much personality. Lovin' it.

I do thank you so much for sharing this with us birders at I'd Rather B Birdin'...it's always a pleasure visiting!!

You have some brilliant shots there, I'm not too familier with American Hawks so struggleing to guess what it might be, Red shouldered ?
Thank you for looking in on my blog , and take care, Gordon.

YIKES, So Adorable, so brilliant those sweet eyas! I just LOVE them and I am thrilled that at least these two are doing well.
They have such a difficult time. Larger Birds of Prey, Raccoon's, can still cause such havoc on this nest and I pray it will not happen. They will be among some of the loudest birds in North America as adults and know also that less than 10% of these first year birds will survive their first Winter. I do all that I can to help with their success here and this is the worst two years we have had since 1996, yet I remain hopeful.
I hope that you and your hubby can keep up with these lovely eyas until, and maybe even for a while after they have fledged.
Great photo documentation Diane and thank you so much for alerting me. I think they are just wonderful~
Hugs my friend~
