Taking photos from the Car!

Photos don’t come out very good through the glass, taken with a little camera (while you are driving…EEEEE) but sometimes I just can’t resist!

We have so many beautiful horses here in Florida over the winter and lots and lots of babies right now.

I took these on the way to the Mall.

And these Ibis were on the side street near the Mall.

I still can’t get used to seeing sights like this when we are ‘out and about’. I love it!

I took this one out my side window. A gentlemen had pulled over to photograph this gorgeous Dogwood tree. I may want to go back over there and take photos of it too.

Oh, and I can’t leave hubby out. He took this one from his car, very near our house. He counted 20 wild turkeys! And if you look closely, you’ll notice one is WHITE!

OK…I’ve confessed! Now it’s your turn. Do you ever take a quick pic through the window of your car? Tell the truth now! heehee!

I’m joining Saturday’s critters HERE

and I’d Rather B Birdin’.

I may only be taking pictures from the car for a while, as bad as the pollen is right now. I step outside to grab the mail and can't breathe for an hour.

Diane, I love your pictures. I try this when Ted is driving and I would almost swear he goes just a wee bit faster. Blast, he is no help. LOL I love that dogwood tree. It will be awhile before we see such prettiness here. I absolutely love horses. Blessings for a great weekend. xoxo, Susie

Many of my pictures are taken from my car, but the window is usually rolled down to get a better pic. I always wondered about the white turkeys cause I see them around here as well. Are they the young ones? The picture of the man looking at the dogwood tree is really unique and pretty. And it's always a treat to see the horses. What a cute Header you have on here today, Diane.

Have a blessed weekend.

I try this if my husband is driving but it's hard to get a good picture. Wonderful photos, I especially like the one of the Ibis. Seems strange to see the residential backdrop. Can't wait for our dogwoods to start blooming...gonna be a while. Hope you're having a wonderful weekend.

I confess to taking a picture in the car when I am driving, but let me just say that my phone camera is set to snap a shot when I say the word 'SMILE' so I don't have to push any buttons to do it. Safety is always first though!! Nice shots!!

Love your scenery my friend! Especially the horse fields. Yep, I take pictures out the window but they are usually not very good. Most of mine are when we are out walking the city, but I nearly always see neat things when we are our driving too, especially on the way to the beach. Hope you are having a good weekend, it is nice and warm here and Mr. Front Porch is outside mowing and trimming and weeding. I am so thankful he does this.

Hello, I often take photos thru the car windows. Sometimes they turn out and sometimes an awful blur, lol. Your photos of the horses look pretty. I like seeing the horses out on the field. Nice sighting of the White Ibis and the Wild Turkeys. The dogwood blooms are pretty.
Thanks so much for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!

Oh YES I do, BUT I always make sure that no one is coming within view in front, or behind me and of course I never do on a curve. I have missed many a photo op for being more cautious than if I were younger I might try and take it. My camera is heavy and it's a little difficult to lift it drive and not wreck to take a snap through the window, but I have tackled it when I could. Great shares to by the way my friend~

beautiful photos!!! I have taken photos through the wind screen but in summer there can be a splatted bug in the photo as well lol,, my perfectionist husband will usually pull over to take it properly but not me,, I just take it if it moves me to do so!!

I do take photos from our car window, but usually roll the window down. Your photos of the horses are very pretty. The dogwood blooming makes me happy. I can't wait for our dogwoods to bloom, but that will be a while. Have a great weekend. ♥

I can't walk and chew gum, so taking pictures while driving is not something any of you want me to do! My favorite in your post are the turkeys ...

I take tons of pictures through the car windows. I see the most wonderful things that way. Your pictures are great -- so clear and not blurry at all.

I try to roll the window down no matter the weather but I've taken some pretty good ones in the past. I just got a little camera that has a thru the glass setting I used yesterday and it turned out pretty well.
Wow, so many turkeys, I'm used to seeing about three at a time although I did come across a bunch of them in a field last week.
These are good shots, I would be in heaven if it didn't get so hot. The horses are so cute!

Wonderful views out your car windows! Love seeing the horse farms and the fields of ibis and turkeys! Funny about the white one....I always take photos while I am driving - it's the only way......Once in a while I will actually stop if something is really good! It is actually now illegal to hold any electronic device while driving here in WA state, but I have the back roads all to myself most of the time. I suppose one of these days, one of my shots will include the stern look of a police officer......haha! Hugs xo Karen

I'm always doing 'drive by shootings'...with camera, naturally! Love the turkeys & ibis (by the mall no less).

All of us bird enthusiasts enjoy & appreciate your sharing this weekend...thanks!

Sometimes all you can do are drive-by photos! That's OK...these are lovely! I love the older gentleman taking a photo of the dogwood tree. Dogwoods are one of my favorites! How lovely to see one in bloom right now!

Those were all fun shots! (And I'd love to see a dogwood -- never do here -- used to love them in Oregon.) I don't 'shoot' when I'm driving only because I don't think I'm a very good driver anyway and I try to concentrate. But I do a lot when Bill is driving. Drive-by and the kind of picture I get after I scream 'STOP! Photo Op.'. Actually, after all this time, he is pretty good about noticing those ops now and often will turn around, stop (if its possible) or back up (ditto) even before I screech!!

Yep- I do take pictures through the windows. But because I am the driver I have to pull over to do it...and usually roll the window down to get as clear of a picture as possible. Great photos, Diane! xo Diana

I ride the bus all the time and I sit beside the window and fire away. Some come out blurry but I have lots that don't. I rather take one and see what happens rather than not and have nothing. Yours are pretty nice and impressive.
Keep on snapping and have a wonderful week ahead.

Sometimes you just have to take the shot through the window and hope for the best. Well done!

A few of my favorite shots are drive-by shootings. And sometimes I even stop!

taking pics from the car? Sure :) Better to have something then nothing at all. Great pics :) Love the ibis.

Yes, I have taken lots of pics out of the car window. Sometimes I have been very satisfied with them and sometimes not. Love the pic with the dogwood tree blooming.

Of course, some of the best pictures are while traveling in the car. I have to admit, I have never seen a turkey fanning his tail and I want to see one so badly.

Of course I take pix from the car - but NEVER when driving - as Don always drives. I'd be too frightened to even try if I was driving. Fortunately he is great about stopping or turning around too - so I can get the pix I want (need) (must have). Love the horses - and those turkeys - wow!
