Spring Green

We walked around Shalom Park with our cameras a few days ago and everything was Spring Green!

DSCN2366

I love these photos taken at the pond!

And the flowers were blooming like crazy!

Most of these are Azaleas and Camellias.

They were gorgeous! And how about THIS green!

And I really shouldn’t ‘ruin my mosaic’ just to be silly.

But remember that game? What doesn’t belong?

See if you can guess!

That spring green is so special. No other time of year will we see it like this. I paint in oils and the color is called Yellow Thalo Green.
We hope to go to the country later this week and I can’t wait to see what it looks like. We left the end part of January and totally missed February down there.
I love your part of the world! Happy Monday, Friend!

Your mosaic made me giggle. What fun! This bright spring green is such a welcome sight, but we aren't seeing much of it yet, here. Any day now, I say, the temperature could warm up!
Happy Mosaic Monday!

Wonderful spring flowers, Shalom Park is a great place for the two of you to take your daily walk and share the scenery with us. Love the idea of what doesn't belong, I may have to pinch it for a future MM post.
Happy MM.

Giggling at what doesn't belong! Love your visit to Shalom Park. Things around here are green, but I still have a lot of cutting out the "brown" to do from the freeze. Tropical plants don't like ice! Happy Monday!

What an interesting green, Diane! I wonder if it will turn darker in color as the season progresses.

What lovely photos of your beautiful park, Diane. We are so excited for spring to come. We've had teaser days, but this week is quite chilly. I'm looking forward to seeing the same beauty you have featured. Have a great week. ♥

It's so wonderful to see all those spring flowers in bloom, Diane! I won't see that here until May. We are actually hoping for some snow or rain, as it has been very windy and dry here, and fire warnings are up. Our winter has been fairly warm.

Oh what a joy it is so see all your beautiful blooms.

We had our crocus bloom today - but it is still cold.

Just a few hours north of us this weekend had 6 inches of snow still on the ground! Brrrrr!

Your mosaic - lovely and funny! : - )

Wow, that new header up there is so pretty! Love all the bright colors. I love going along on your walks/hikes/adventures my friend!!--always something fun and interesting to see in your neck of the woods! I sure did love the pictures on the previous post too....some great shots of that woodpecker!!! I just remarked to Mr. Front Porch yesterday "our azaleas were in full rampant bloom last year by Valentines day1--this year, nothing yet!" and he took me outside to the bushes and SURE ENOUGH---about ten blooms starting up! Yay! We have them in whites, the red, and pinks. Someone planted them here many many years ago and they are now huge bushes. I look forward to their blooms every Feburary...this year they are late. Maybe because of the big snow and ice we had here this winter maybe? Anyway, my camellias are about finished and the spring flowers are quickly budding, if not blooming.

Jealous jealous jealous! Look at that green and all those colors. Even on the cement truck. Mother Nature dumped a good deal of snow on us last night but I'm betting it will be melted soon, cross fingers.

I can always count on you to make me giggle! And I bet those camellias have a gorgeous, rich aroma - I am sighing deeply, imagining the scent and knowing we are months from anything similar!

Looks like spring has arrived down south. We are waiting and there are a few signs. Tulips are half way up and some daffodils are poking through and it is warming up. A green cement truck! Love it.

Such beautiful pictures! A few weeks ago my peach trees had the pretties blooms ever and I now have tiny baby peaches. But....I hear we may be getting another frost this week. Only in Florida do we never know what the weather may be until we get out of the bed and walk outside! LOL!
Hugs and blessings, Cindy

Well I think I can figure out which doesn't belong. LOL. How wonderful to see GREEN and FLOWERS! You've definitely got spring there. Enjoy every minute of it. We're still in snowbanks here. :-)

Love your sense of humor! things never stop being green here....especially the weeds even though we get freezing temps. The robins showed up yesterday and the skunks have been out for awhile along with the snakes out of hibernation so it is Spring in the Ozarks for sure. Enjoy your lovely blooms!
