Let’s DO the Blue!

How about another hike at Blue Run in Dunnellon?

IMG_7242

It’s been neat to see so many flowers in bloom this summer. We’ve had just the right amount of rain to keep everything green and beautiful!

And I’m trying to stay active and lose the 5 pounds I gained earlier this year.

Oh WOW….now I’ve lost 10 just by stretching my photo! Of course I’m probably as tall as my 6 ft tall hubby now but we girls do what we have to do to look good! hahahaha!

And I just had to include a couple of the other photos my sweet hubby took on this hike.

Isn’t this a gorgeous Great White Heron?

And a pretty red leaf among the green foliage!

I’m joining Mosaic Monday HERE.

Congratulations of losing the weight, and I enjoyed seeing the pictures of the beautiful flowers, and the heron. Hope the new week treats you well.

I am laughing out loud at the lost weight due to stretched photo. I was very much tempted to use the 'weight loss' button on PicMonkey on my photos of me I used today... it removes 20 pounds with one click. maybe next time I will stretch me.. lol.... beautiful blue walk..

Hi Diane
Your hubby takes wonderful photos and it's nice to see you in them! I can see from his photos that this is a beautiful and lush park to walk in. The egret looked so big and healthy--he must be finding lots of fish to eat!

Beautiful pictures. I've been trying to lose the same 5 pounds for the last 20 years.

I always thought that was a great Egrets.
Just looked it up and Great Egrets have black legs while the white herons have much lighter legs.
Couldn't see the legs so well in the picture.
Whatever it is, it's a great picture.

The Great White Heron sure is a beauty. I love this bird with its strange looking neck. The picture of the green and red is so pretty. The leaf kind of looks like a heart.

Thank you for welcoming back today, Diane.

Ha ha ha! That's a new DIET idea! Love it!!! How lucky you are to have rain … we are dry as a bone … babying our new landscaping is quite the endeavor! Your heron shot is spectacular! Have a super week!

You hiked the Blue and saw lots of green two colours that the old proverb says should never be seen together, the white heron in between saved the day!

You look like ....perfect weight! The heron is gorgeous, I like your pictures. Its wonderful the way you get out and about! by the way, have you run into 'the oath' thing regarding yahoo mail? I don't understand what that means.

I'm so glad you were able to get the ebook about the llittle girls and the house behind the church. Can't think of the name of it.....

Beautiful walk!! Stretching by photo sounds a lot easier than my Yoga/stretching class; maybe I'll just skip it today and play with my photos ))

What a pretty pretty path....all green trees and shade and just looks cool and you want to follow it to see what is down around the bend. Love all these pictures, you get such great ones and so many of your flowers and leaves/bushes etc. are things I don't recognize, so always fun learning new things from different parts of our South. You and your hubby both take great pictures! I enjoy them all!
