*Fall Pretties*

I love decorating for Fall even though it feels more like summer time here in Florida!

DSCN5494

It’s my least favorite season so I make an effort to surround myself with things that look pretty!

DSCN5440

I won a fun giveaway at Life and Linda and she sent me these beautiful Mackenzie Childs Elizabethan guest towels.

DSCN5441

Aren’t they the cutest!

DSCN5443

Thanks Linda! (I love this tag too)

DSCN5493

I hung them on the baker’s rack for now.

DSCN5495

But I’ll probably move them again! I’m bad to do that! lol

And Sam asked me to show my progress with cross stitching.

(The red barn will be stitched in under the sun!)

I had to take a break when we were in NC. I took my little project bag but I was too tired in the evenings to do any stitching. So now I’ve started again since we came back to Florida. I’m anxious to finish these and start working on something for the holidays.

Do you have pretty Fall decorations up?

Anyone want to brag about their nice cool Fall weather?

I’m joining Thankful Thursdays.

It is hard to embrace Fall when it's hot! Same here in Texas usually...strangely it's cool and rainy here and we are enjoying it. Love your fallish decor. :)

We have finally cooled down here in Tennessee and I love it! I love fall and all that goes with it. Your fall decorations are so nice. I have a fall wreath on my front door but that is all I have so far.

Diane, I love your cute decorations. My goodness you are so very good at the cross stitching. I always love seeing those. Two of my daughters have done some on Christmas ornaments for me. They are treasures. Love the cute towel you received. Also, I like that felt owl. :):) Blessings to you, xoxo, Susie

Although I love autumn, I'm not fond of oranges and browns, so decor here is minimal. I'm not a fan of Halloween (other than the cute trick or treaters) so I don't decorate at all for that, other than making a jack-o-lantern for the 31st. Fall here is more about getting cozy and pulling out the candles, little lights and warmer blankets. So far we haven't needed blankets too often - the weather has been gorgeous! Enjoy being home and working on your projects again.

I like your cross-stitch! I have some long ago cross st. started and forgotten. I love the art of it...the blending of colors and lines that create art, don't you.....as for fall....its foliage is magical...the gorgeous turning of colors on the trees is breath-taking. I guess that means I like it haha. Time to settle in and get serious about 'cozy'. Hope your day is full of sunshine and all that goes with it.

Diane, your fall decorations are so cute and your little towels you won are adorable. I have my home decorated finally and will leave it up through Thanksgiving since it's not Halloween, just fall stuff. It will be here before we know it! Hugs!

I love your fall decorations and the towels are really nice. It's always fun to win giveaways from blog friends. I have a few decorations on my mantel and on my front stoop. The weather has turned from summer weather to very cold! I like it when it is a gradual change but this was a drastic change in just one day. I had to take out a heavier coat, scarf, and gloves and it's sweater weather here too.
Have a nice end of the week and weekend.

I'm right here in hot, humid Florida, too. I don't put out many Fall decorations (or Halloween). Your things are cute, your stitching is perfection, and those towels are great for this time of year!

I can't imagine fall with summer temperatures and no changing leaves. I do have fall decorations set out

Lovey decorations. I loved my raggedy Ann doll when I was little. A gal in Tenn. made me a small Raggedy Ann and Andy a few years back. I displayed them nicely and one day I came home and someones dog has chewed Andy's head off. So sad.

It has finally cooled off here in north Texas....but the rain can stop now. Your place looks so festive. My sweet husband buried the Fall decoration box under mounds of Christmas decorations...and I didn’t have the energy to dig for them...grr

Thanks for coming by my blog...I have been awful about getting over to my friends blogs.. Have a nice weekend..

Too funny...it's your least favorite season and my favorite. I adore your cute decorations. You can come decorate my house anytime. Hugs, Sam

That stitching is just so beautiful, bright, and fun! I love it! So fun also to get those towels. They remind me of England. I won't brag about our weather, but I'll have to say that the reason fall is your least favorite season is because you don't live in Wisconsin. :-) It's glorious here right now. So much color and beauty, and cold enough that we've had to have fires in our wood burning stove! Okay, I'll stop bragging about the cool weather now. LOL Have a wonderful weekend, Diane!

That Raggedy Ann doll is the cutest, Diane. And those little pumpkins are something else. Your Fall dΓ©cor is nice. I don't have too much, but it's my favorite season of all. I was surprised to hear it was your least favorite. Your cross stitching is exquisite. What a special talent you have.

Autumn is my favorite season, Diane, so I always enjoyed the cooler weather and bright blue skies and colorful trees that we get here. We even had our first snow this past weekend! I always look forward to that event. I have not put out any Halloween decorations as yet-- been very just after returning back from a quick trip to NTC to celebrate my brother's 50th wedding anniversary--but I bought all the candy I will hand out.

the towels are so cool... I want some! And the dancing pumpkin men too!

Do you get much Fall in your part of Fl? I grew up in Tampa, and really now much Fall to be seen. Maybe two seasons, hot, and less hot.
I like that you decorate, and the vignette's you make.
