Let’s do the ‘bunny hop’!

I would still love to share photos of my hikes but I’m afraid you’re going to start recognizing every trail and every tree! lol I go to some of the same trails…over and over again!

But I do see something unusual on just about every hike!

These were taken on the Florida Trails,

the Marjorie Harris Carr Cross Florida Greenway.

bIMG_2360

I saw a baby bunny a few days ago!

bIMG_2357

I looked up ahead and wondered what was rolling down the trail. (that’s what it looked like)

But when I got closer I saw that it was a baby bunny.

bIMG_2366

He didn’t know to be afraid of me so he stayed right on the edge of the trail.

bIMG_2367

And now he’s ‘hiding’ from me!

bIMG_2368

I can’t see him now! heehee!

It’s funny because on another hike I had seen a HUGE rabbit track!

So now….

rabbittracksIMG_2066

you put your right foot out, put your left foot out, and you shake it all about!

(I was hoping to show how big it was with the comparison!)

raccoontracksIMG_2064

I see so many tracks. Look at these teeny tiny tracks!

This is SAND not snow!

And how about this Fence Lizard on a stump!

He looks prehistoric, doesn’t he?

Have you seen anything unusual this week?

I’m joining Thankful Thursdays.

Nothing like a Florida walk! Love the sweet bunnies, we have them in our scrub, love to see them. Interesting lizard, he sure does look prehistoric. Great share!

I never get bored with your photos!! especially of the bunnies!! I have two rabbits of my own, and love them. You are lucky to live in such a warm climate and see so many beautiful flowers, and so much wildlife around you. It's cold and snowy here for months, so to see green and flowers this time of year...I am grateful! Thank you for sharing.

I just love bunnies but you can keep your Fence Lizard to your own self. lol The most unusual thing I saw this week was stepping out of my car at the VA at 5:45 am....the male volunteer ahead of me went down flat on his back (on ice) and as I was helping him up the male volunteer BEHIND me fell on his side and say swear words I don't think I have ever heard before. lol Both are okay! I should have taken pictures!!! lol xo Diana

I love your hikes and the photographs you share.
The rabbits are sweet, can't say the same about the Fence Lizard, he's quite well camouflaged there!

All the best Jan

I enjoy getting to see what you see on your hikes. I will admit to ever, that I prefer the baby bunny over the lizard.

everything you saw was thrilling to me. that bunny is so sweet and I have not seen one of those type lizards. he is beautiful. I wonder if the small tracks could be a small bobcat or some kind of cat, the other with your foot, maybe a deer hoof?

Saying "Bunny!" is like saying "Squirrel!" to me. Baby bunny is a cutie.

You see tracks in sand, I see them in snow. Cute little bunny.
The unusual thing I saw this week were deer running and ducking under a fence instead of jumping over it. They never slowed down, it was amazing to watch.

I enjoy all of the nature photos, so just post away. Nice to get outside. Very cold here with a winter storm on the way :( Thanks for linking up today.

I hope that bunny doesn't hop into the street! He is adorable. I think lizards are fascinating. They do look rather prehistoric!

Sweet little bunny....wondering if those are cat tracks....

What a divinely sweet bunny! I just adore bunnies and count each one. Perhaps in another month or two here...

That bunny was sure a good photo subject and soon enough he/she will know enough to run quickly or should I say hop. The lizard was not as cute for my taste. Thanks for the hike.

I see tracks in snow, too. Your sand is just as good. 🙂

Amazing lizard!! I love bunnies though last year I didn't spot many, don't know if it was due to the very hot summer here last year.
Have a wonderful weekend :)

I love to see bunnies when I walk in the summer in Colorado. I not only really like them...but their being in the area means the mountain lion hasn’t been around.

Just some very hard rain, which is very unusual for us in the dry So. California mountains. And very thankful for it.

What a cute bunny. The lizard, not so much. Unusual sightings around here - hmmm - a Grade 9 boy sitting still?

All I can say, Diane, is that is hip to hop.

I won't get tired of your photos and the trails. The bunny is cute and the only strange things I've seen lately are from your photos... that lizard, for instance!!
