I thought I would share a few photos from the past.
One of the fun traditions here in our community is the golf cart parade.
I walked over to watch it go by.
And loved all the golf carts that were decorated for the event.
Everyone puts a lot of effort to make it special each year.
My 'critter' for this holiday is the Bald Eagle.
It's a bird we see often here in Florida.
But it's still makes you stop and marvel.

We had a golf cart parade earlier today for the 4th. Not as big as the one you have pictured, but well-attended nonetheless.

The golf cart parade is fabulous!
wow...those are spectacular images of the bald eagle, they are so majestic and awe-inspiring. my nieces neighborhood does the same thing, every year. golf carts, kids on decorated bikes and their local fire truck. my nieces children are too big now and do not want to participate...they went out in their boat and we are not boaters. we have our pool and are staying here, it's quiet and no traffic!!

Oh my: had forgotten how popular the "golf cart" parades were in Florida ... but thankfully had not forgotten our amazing and beautiful sightings of bald eagles! Living so near, and often visiting the MI Refuge (and KSC area) they had a huge and longtime, well used nest there where a couple always returned to have and raise their young each year.
Must be so nice to celebrate your own country. And your critter sure fits, too!

The 4th was nice here. I stayed home, but could see fireworks from my balcony. Looks like you had a fun time too. That parade looks like it was really fun.
