I’m going to buy a paper doll that I can call my own…
This is a photo of my 6th birthday party.
The little cutie in the background is my sweet sister.
I have just opened a gift and it is the 45 record
" Paper doll”. I had the piano music that I learned to play, too.
What fun to find the old sheet music at an antique store a few years ago.
Now if I just had the record sleeve with the paper dolls! Wouldn’t that be fun?
I’m not sure what I’ll be doing today
but I’ll be sure to make it a ‘play day’!

Diane, you look so adorable, and that blonde hair all done up pretty! Happy birthday to you! My hubby has a bunch of old 45s, but I doubt that 'Paper Doll' is among them. And I have lots of old sheet music. Don't know what to do with it! Maybe play a tune, right?

Happy Birthday Diane!! And I remember paper dolls...one of my favorite things to play with. Now my grand girls have the magnetic wooden dolls from Melissa and Doug! They are fun to play with too but paper dolls were better in my opinion.

As you know today was also my Mom's birthday and here is a funny story about her--She always said and celebrated her birthday on the 21st--as that is what her older sister told her was her B-day--but when she got her birth certificate years later it said, Jan 23 and when she got her passport even years later--they listed her birthday as Jan 28th--sooo--but she would not change the date--said she knew she was born on the 21st and that was what counted!!!!
