August Notecard Party–Tall and Skinny or Short and Wide!

I love making banners and I keep mine altogether on my desktop in a folder called bansandbutts. I did a post on it HERE!

JIbanner

And one thing you can know for sure, if the banner has a mountain scene, I’m in Western North Carolina.

When you see a Florida State Park, I’m here in Florida.

And if I’ve just been to the beach, it will probably have the ocean.

And the Postcard banner I have up there now is a copy cat from BJ’s Sweet Nothings! She helped me! Thanks girlfriend!!! (who knows were I am! I might be mailing myself to an exotic location! lol)

I’m joining Vee at a Haven for Vee

for the August Notecard party!

A New New Button_thumb

I wonder if these would make good notecards? And are they skinny or wide? heehee!

I'd love for you to do a tutorial on how you make your beautiful banners. I made the one for my blog a long time ago and I don't have a clue how I did it. LOL! It's time for an update I think.

They would be perfect for those cards that come with a little bookmark gift inside. Add a tassel to the end and you're all set!

I really like the one you have now because it is so unique. I think NC is gorgeous. However, when I close my eyes and think of "Lavender Dreams," I see you walking on the beach looking for seashells.

I have no clue how to make a banner but will learn someday. These make wonderful note cards or bookmarks.

I love your changing banners -- I get tired of mine but I always forget how to change it and by the time I research and remember -- it's too much trouble HAHA!

Very pretty.

Haha, I guess I missed that post! These are wonderful. I really like that one of the beach, searching for seashells. Oh, and those NC mountains seem to be calling out to me too!

I just started doing a few "stitched" photos in photoshop, where I put them together to make a panorama. But I've only done 3 so far. Mmm, I need to do another one so that I can have a panorama theme in a future note card party! Mind if I copy cat you, LOL?

You remember those funny greeting cards in the long envelope? I am seeing them more and more, so yes, I think your long rectangular cards would make lovely cards. I really like your new header! That would also be a nice card! I wonder where you are, but I was in the mts here earlier today!

I always enjoy your headers and yes, I kind figured out that it's usually 'where you are at the moment'. Now I do love this post card.

Just love visiting all over the place with you. Our daughter and family are building a new house on Hilton Head Island hope we get there soon. We haven't been to the ocean in a few years. Great cards. Yes that size is around now. I like this linky party very much.

..and by the way...that bj can do ANYTHING! I am such an admirer of hers. Your header is lovely. HOW wish I knew how to do my own.

I love your banners. Note cards would have to be skinny and long, I think - with special envelopes!
My banner is in dire need of a makeover, but I am uninspired and can't make the time to do it. I missed summer and now I might as well wait for autumn to make a new one.

I just love the photos you take of all the wonderful things you see! They make excellent banners that are just so you....beautiful :)

They would make pretty notecards! We don't see to many horizontal "skinny" cards anymore, but they were very popular many years ago!
