Postcards from Rainbow Springs

I love making my own postcards with photos I’ve taken.

PostRBIMG_4934

I have the most fun putting borders and text on them.

PostRSIMG_4935

Maybe I should print them out…..

one of these days!

I’m joining Sundays in my City

and Seasonal Sundays

with these Florida postcards!

Our first day of August was about 80 degrees for a high. It was rainy and pleasant. I know the rest of the month will be hot though!

Are you still in summer mode?

They are lovely pics and I don't blame you for making cards of them!! I sometimes think I would like to do the same with mine!! It makes them so much more personal. I'm still in summer mode though it was touch and go a couple of days ago when the weather was chilly and it was raining heavily!! Joan

Absolutely! We have not yet had good summer weather. I'm not ready to give up summer until autumn officially arrives even though autumn is my favorite season. It's funny though, I have a blogging buddy who moved north who is embracing autumn because it feels like autumn to her now. Boy oh boy she's going to be in for a shock when autumn does arrive and then winter!

Your note cards/ post cards are beautiful...why not print them off?

You could easily make those into post cards, so many pretty scenes. We finally got some rain early this morning. I'd like to see the rain spread out to all the places that need it. Enjoy your weekend. xoxo,Susie

The postcards are really pretty. They almost have a bit of a retro feel to them.
As far as summer goes, it has been pretty cool here.

Those would make beautiful postcards! I'm glad to have at least one more month of summer - seems like I lost July somewhere along the way.

Pretty scenes! Yes, I think you should print them, too.

We are enjoying a nice summer at the moment. As long as it's stays nice like this, I'm in no hurry for fall even tho it's my favorite season.

I am SOOOOOOO ready for fall!!! Hate August here. The skies are hazy...it's HOT and HUMID...and the mosquitos are eating us alive! Every time you open the door, a million flies make a run for the opening...I HATE FLIES! And even rats are finding their way to our neighborhood from the field trying to find water. Come on fall!!!

80 degrees sounds awesome, as here is our cold weather, so lately it's even 55!!! After this month weather starts to get like a warm spring. Meanwhile I love Flo. and your post! Gorgeous views to be printed, I'd love to see which you choose. Have a great Sunday. Thanks for visiting, darling.

Post cards seem to be a thing of the past with email Twitter and face book. I should try to make a few. Yours are great.

Love these! Your photos are great- How do you add the borders and writing? on the computer or where you get them printed?

Our summer is going to finish cooler and damper than last year. Even the leaves on the trees are starting to turn color.

I still need to look up Rainbow Springs!! It can't be too far from Juniper Springs which is out of Ocala!! They are so similar!

I like the "picture within a picture" look you get with those frames. Which photo editing tool are you you using to get that effect?

What a beautiful place you live in. I like the fonts you use for your postcards. I've begun selling the images of my city at Zazzle. You've inspired me to be more imaginative with fonts and placement.
