Gingerbread Annie meets the Gingies “Wednesday Wee Ones”

I love getting a new doll for Christmas (an early gift to myself).

And this year, I fell in love with this precious Raggedy Ann with a little gingerbread man dress.

It’s the first doll I’ve bought from Brendi and it is adorable! Her Etsy shop is HERE and she has lots of cute things for sale!

My gingies were made by Julie and her Etsy shop is HERE.

I love buying handmade items, don’t you?

I like making things too but this year I’m running late on holiday crafting and sewing. It’s 80 degrees here today so it’s hard to stay inside!

Have you made anything new this year?

If you do a post with dolls or toys, let me know and I’ll put a link at the end of my post.

JoAnn has help with decorating the Christmas tree today! Visit her HERE for some holiday fun!

Oh my goodness, those dolls are the cutest!

We've been busy making things for Christmas. No dolls though since my daughters seem to have grown out of the playing with dolls phase and so far they show no inclination to become collectors.

Always good advice, Diane! Speaking of which, I must get "playing' quick. I have a Christmas village requiring putting up.

She is so cute!!

80 degrees??? It's almost zero today in Chicago. Good day to stay home and make Christmas cookies.

What cute dollies - you have the best fun at holiday time - and wonderful places for us to shop. I love finding sweet things at Etsy shops. I've not made anything new this year - but I've looked at some wonderful ideas - maybe next year. Abby is decorating a tree this week on my blog -stop over and see what she is up to. Enjoy your warm weather - it is 17 degrees here and everything is covered with several inches of snow. Good day to stay indoors and play with the dolls. Happy days to you my friend.

Hi Diane, how fun to add a new doll to your collection. It's so cute and I too love handmade things. I hope you are enjoying the holidays. That is great about the weather and I hope you enjoy being outside. It's sooo cold here. Tomorrow and Friday are supposed to be in the 20's. Brrrr I'm not looking forward to that! LOL. Take care and have a nice weekend.

LOL 80 degrees. Here it is 12 with the threat the flurries--snow. I love the little dolls. As you, I love collecting those little handmade rag dolls, but I haven't been to craft show in ages. Your poinsettias in the previous post are stunning and to see them outside is even more exotic. Love them.

Your dolls are just adorable! I'm in awe of people who are so talented.

80 degrees there? It's 35 degrees here. I'll trade with you any day. I'm cold even inside the house.

Well as you know, I'm not a doll fan, however Raggedys have always been a favorite toy of mine. Your new girl is adorable! Love her dress, er hair, and sweet look.

I love that you love your dolls. They are so adorable. And I am crocheting away on my afghan and getting toward the end. We'll see what happens, it won't be perfect, but I have enjoyed every minute.

You poor sis with such hot temperatures - we have quite frigid weather for a number of days on the horizon. But, I'm counting the sleeps until we leave for Florida!
I like your new Raggedy Ann, such a cute face.

Your Raggedy Ann doll is cute, and I especially like those gingerbread dolls. Oh, cloth dolls are my favorite, and when they are handmade, even better. It's nice to treat ourselves to a sweet doll now and then. :)

How precious are they? Too cute! Now that the presents are in the mail I will be playing at making Christmas cookies and goodies and doing some sewing and handwork. I would be outside too and I was for most of the Fall but now it's cold and rain coming today. Enjoy!
