The majestic cook stove brings back fond memories of my grand parents house. They lived in a small mill town near Covington, Ga. I remember Granny cooking on the stove and my Papa outside splitting kindling to fit the stove. Some good times. Thanks for the nice shots.
We are back from Florida....had a great time. Do you know that I have never been to the Johnson Farm? It looks like a great place to visit. I love all of the red and white.
These are fantastic photos. I love the very last one. Would you believe that I used to own stoves like the two you've shown! The second stove is like one I actually used for several years. And the wood burning stove is like one HB and I had in Colorado....but only for decorative purposes!
I love that wood stove and the red checkered tablecloth with those flower dishes. I have a few pieces of that pattern and they always warm my heart. This looks like 'my kind' of place! Have a great day! Twyla
Thanks for sharing your photos. I can see why you're drawn to the kitchen. It is great. I always love kitchens and especially farm kitchens. There is just something so cozy about them. I think I need to make a visit to this place.
Thanks for sharing your trip to Johnson Farm ...it's been very enjoyable and fun. I love the little red chair with the lone egg! Looks like you had a wonderful time and so did I ...thanks for sharing.
i adore vintage kitchens!! oh, lovely, how much fun it must have been to visit.
i also wanted to pop in and say hi (it's a little weird being out of the blogland loop!) and also show you a photo of my new nephew, i can't help but be a proud auntie. :) anyway, i hope you are doing well!
Lavender has long been a favorite flower and color of genteel ladies. This shade of purple suggests refinement along with grace, elegance, and something special.

Parts of this house remind me of the place we had in Arkadelphia.

So quaint...I want to live there! Or maybe I just want a dining room...and a cool old stove...and that cute little apron hanging on the cabinet door.
Looks like a fun and interesting place to visit.....
