We've been having little pop up showers this week
and I took a few photos from the balcony of our condo with views of the mountains.....

I love the somber clouds!
Even when the grassy area was bathed in sunlight,
you could see the showers over the mountains!
The mountains are fun to watch...always changing!

There is something about the quality of light there that you don't get here in Kansas. It's just brighter, more intense. You are closer to the sun!

I love the clouds in the sky too. Your pictures are so pretty. When I was a llittle girl one of my favorite things to do was to lay on the soft green grass and gaze up at the sky. I used to pretend I was walking through the clouds on my way to heaven.
I have never been to your part of the country but it looks beautiful.

Great photos and a beautiful view! I loved the Barbi post too. It brought back a lot of memories of playing Barbis on the front porch with my dear neighbor friend!

Those clouds look very similar to what we've been seeing here. However, your mountain views make them look so much nicer.

What a blessing to have that scene for a view. I am always complaining (grass is always greener, etc.) that I'd rather see mountains rather than the just the beaches we have here. (God forgive me!)
