An early morning photo shoot!

Well...not early...early!

We have had such dense fog here in the mountains
that I had to wait for it to 'burn off' before I went!

I had driven down a road I don't often travel
(and no I was NOT lost, for family members that read this! lol)
and I saw this barn among a field of yellow flowers.

So this morning I drove over there and
found a place to park so that I could get some good photos.

And if it looks like it is leaning.....
oh yes...it is leaning!

It was hard to capture the beauty and variety of the flowers
in this field and grapes hanging on the fence.

What we see with our eyes is so much more vivid!

Enjoy the holiday weekend!

Take time to smell the roses
or in this case, the wild flowers!

And HAPPY BIRTHDAY
to my friend, Freckled Hen!!!

Hi Diane!
..you've to get up very early to take a picture of Morning Glory, as they close their petals at midday!
How lovely the countryside in your surroundings!
Happy Sunday!

Lovely photos. We have an old barn near us that looks very similar. I hope you will continue to share outdoor photos when the leaves start to change as I imagine it will be gorgeous in the mountains.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Hi, I LOVE the photo of the old barn. It reminds me of our frequent trips up to VT where we will park the car and just look at all the scenery, mountains, old barns, old homes. . .I love that!
wishing you a very great weekend!

Those old buildings remind me of me. Older, and older and then falling into dust...ARGGGGG ... :)
