If you could only buy ONE .....or maybe TWO
new cookbooks this Fall, what would you buy?
I was looking at the Autumn Gooseberry Patch cookbook
and that looks very appealing!
I need a boost and I need some new recipes!
We are in the condo now and can't grill
so I am having to learn to cook again!
( I should say we can grill with an electric grill
on the balcony but we don't have one yet.
Something else on the 'wish list'! )
Any ideas?
Enjoy your day!

OMG!!! You can't grill in your new condo, but you have really pretty flowers there! I love your lilies!
Maybe I should save my money for a grill! We don't have the right kind for the balcony, Michela! Thanks for your sweet comment!
Hi Diane,
I have two cookbooks that I use a lot, they are Gordon Ramsays and Jamie Oliver. They are straight forward and easy recipes to make.
They have both put out a lot of books and they are really good.
I love your marigolds and Lilies.
Hugs
Carolyn
I'm no help to you as I absolutely hate to cook! I do it because I have to and it's usually very simple stuff.
Your flowers are gorgeous!!!
I hardly ever use a recepi but I love the Gooseberry Patch! ♥
I don't have that particular book you are showing but I have several of the Gooseberry Patch books. I love the recipes and also love the cute covers.
Your flowers are beautiful.

Well after seeing the movie Julie & Julia, I bought Mastering the Art of French Cooking. Great book if you want a challange!
Hugs,
Penny
p.s. I also go to www.epicurious.com and look up recipes all of the time. Great website.
I would buy any cookbook by Susan Branch. I not only love her recipes, I love the art and the quotes...warms the oven and your heart at the same time!
When I lived at the condo years ago, cooking was a huge problem, there's a lot of frying here and we bought a fryer so that it would be less messy and less smell too. What about oven cooking? and buy both books and more on cooking :P Happy weekend Dianne, hugs........M
I can't help either. My cookbooks are all dusty from not being used. I usually just type in my main ingredient and look for recipes online. When I really want to try something new...I call my daughter and convince her to cook it. :o)
What a lovely blog this is. I have a grillpan that I use on my gasburner stove. Very easy and with some grillspices tastes like the real thing. I love Jamie Oliver cookbooks
I love the picture of the one you've shown. I use my crockpot a lot and just get recipes of the internet, but there's nothing nicer than browsing through a new cookbook. x
I second what Jacqueline said - anything by Susan Branch! She has great stuff! Love Gooseberry Patch too!
Oh- Gordon Ramsey is an awesome chef!
:)
I don't have any of the Gooseberry Patch books, but the catalogs they send out are just filled with adorable little drawings. I'd treat myself to that cute little cookbook! Hugs, Paulette :o)
i'm not much help here since i usually poke around allrecipes.com for recipes and inspiration! but i thought i'd check out the comments for a book i "need" this fall! :)
Oh dear...I am afraid I am no help at all. I have gotten so far away from cooking! We don't even grill anymore. Lots of plans..but never follow through.
