Spring fever?

We spent the day outdoors and I am either really out of shape or my allergies are to blame….for being SO tired tonight! I guess it’s ‘good tired’ but I am beat!

The weather is gorgeous

and there are flowers in bloom everywhere you look.

Even a few surprises in the shrubbery!

Do you ever laugh at the letters you have to type to comment on some of the blogs? I just had to take a photo of this one. Sure hope I don’t have any of these after being outside all day!

I am still crocheting flowers but I wanted to start a good book so I went to the library yesterday. Stacey from  Poofing the Pillows recommended the Rebecca Wells book, “The Crowning Glory of Calla Lily Ponder” so that’s what I’m going to read tonight! Do you have a good book to add to my reading list? I’m too tired to do anything else! heehee!  Have a wonderful Sunday evening! Ahhhh…..CHOOOO!!!

Oh I hope you like the book as much as I did. :) I've been telling everyone about it.

Your outdoor pictures are beautiful. Aren't the redbuds pretty this year? I love the bunny too.

Enjoy your "good tired". That's my favorite kind.

Hi Diane,

Love all your outdoor photos, sweet bunny, violets and tulips.
Yes, sometimes the word verifications are funny ~ laughed at the cooties.
Night night and have a great sleep.

Love your photographs today. Just lovely. I have often thought that these words should be recorded in a book somewhere, they really crack me up!

Ha ha, cooties! That's hilarious. I do sometimes wonder if someone is behind those letters, if maybe they're not all computer generated!

Cooties? Good heavens! I had to laugh when I got a "wowfat" message one day. The nerve! I love the little brown bunny you found in the garden. Too cute!

It's so beautiful outside now! Don't get me started on those little numbers and letters you have to type to comment. I'm starting to choose blogs to read based on whether I have to do that. I'm getting old and cranky.

I'm always tired after spending the day outside in the fresh air. I did hear that this year the pollen counts are extremely high.

I chuckle over some of the word verifications I get, too. Wonder who makes them up???

Everything is looking very pretty in your yard. It is a great time of year to be outside playing. Well, except for that darn pollen.
That's funny about "cooties". I have seen some of the words that make me smile.

Enjoy your reading time.

Oh goodness, I always believe that it has to be the allergies! Absolutely nothing else. :)

Now, I am reading and learning about Springfield, MA history - getting ready for the next tour at the Quadrangle.

How funny the word you had to enter. I did a post about those one time...been wondering if you have enter them when you do my sight because I have tried to set it up where you don't have too.
Wish I could recommend a good book for you I have been looking for one myself and have not had any luck lately finding one.
It is probably your allergies making you so tired because so many people are complaining about it.
Take care
Maggie

Life is just plain funny at times...love your word verification. I get some wing dingers too that make me laugh. Someone should do a whole post just on that language..it has a personality all it's own! I've reading a fantasy book now (I know you are not shocked) and it's called Fablehaven. Two children visit an old grandfather...such a mystery and pure delight!

Ahhh it's true.. allergies and tiredness..but wow, what a beautiful day you had!! I love those flowers you're crocheting...wonderful! As for a good book to add I must say that I'm just buying children's books these days (trying to really build my library) - and so if you don't mind any of these very quick reads, here are my recent books to ponder: The Brothers Kennedy by Kathleen Krull and illustrated by Amy Bates (she's awesome), and Jerry Pinkney's The Lion and The Mouse (no words!) HA..but it did win the Caldecott Medal this year...it's gorgeous. Have a great rest of the week!

What a cute bunny in your garden! Spring has made the world beautiful.

I laugh at some of the funny word verifications and I'm always happy if I don't have to type one in at all on a blog!

PS: to answer your comment -- I'm sure there may be a photo or two of me in my blog ...I think in some of my posts about Ireland. Since I am the one taking almost all the photos I don't remember to ask for one of me! LOL I guess I'm a little "camera shy"

My favorite books you probably have already read. I am a fan of John Steinbeck and keep his works on my nightstand. And..I just bought a new book at a garage sale..which I have heard is one you won't want to put down..but that changes from person to person. It is The Other Queen by Philippa Gregory. I am going to start it tonight.
