“Wednesday Wee Ones” Calla Lily

I love this beautiful ‘big’ girl but I have always wanted to change her name! When I finished reading “The Crowning Glory of Calla Lily Ponder” last night, I knew I had found the perfect name for her!

Meet Calla Lily…

I took her photo and plan to change her outfit soon! lol She needs a pretty new summer set!

Thanks again to Stacey at Poofing the Pillows for giving such a great review of this book!

It’s one of my favorites! It definitely brings back memories of growing up in the South! You laugh…you cry….you fall in love…it covers every emotion! Do you think Calla Lily is a good name for this dollie?

Enjoy your week! ; )

Yes, that's a great name for her and a wonderful way to remember the joy of reading a good book for a long time. (Calla Lily reminds me of my littlest grandson. Hmmm...)

Calla Lily is perfect and as I read this a line of Callas, like tall nodding chorus girls, flock outside my studio window.

The book looks like a must read.

Thanks so much,

Love the name! I had a great-great aunt Lily who I sort of emulated. She was a pants-wearing woman back when women didn't much do that.

I will add that book to my list. I enjoyed the "Ya Ya Sisterhood" very much so I know I'd also like tbis book.

Oh Diane, you just have the most beautiful children in the neighborhood. I bet you have so much fun dressing them all up in their finery. I like her teddy too.
I just finished Barley. He is a cutie.

Oh yes...a perfect name for sure. Loved going back on your blog and seeing more pictures of the Estate. I think I would go on the boat or the horses...what an amazing life they had...about everything anyone could want in beauty.

Wasn't it a great book? I just loved it. Southern fiction is my absolute favorite and it's always exciting to find something new. I love that you've named your doll Calla Lily. I actually thought my next dog or cat would have to be named that. :)

What a doll baby! But then you KNOW I love dolls too! Show us her new dress when you have finished!! I would love to see. I go through phases when I buy doll clothes...especially from women who make them by hand...booties etc...I have tons of them...enough to make me wonder at myself! LOL
Hugs..
