When I first started walking at Sholom Park,
I was disappointed because all of the paths were concrete...
which if you are a walker, you know is hard on your legs, knees, feet, etc!
But now I've found some trails that are 'off the beaten path'
so when I am on the concrete path,
I can enjoy the leaves stamped into the concrete.
We've had several nice days this week so I've been to the park a lot!
I hope it warms up where you live so that you can get outside
and soak up some sun!
I'm joining Mary at the dear little red house
for Mosaic Monday!
Happy Monday!

That looks like the perfect place to walk. I always love to see leaves in the concrete. Sometimes you have to wonder if it's there on purpose or accidentally.
Such a pretty place to walk. Got up to 54 today! I wish I lived close to you we could walk together.
What a wonderful place to walk! Love the leaf imprints!

What a beautiful place to walk. The leaves in the concrete are pretty. Your weather looks warm too, I wish some of the warm weather was here!
I enjoyed my visit with you today! We have a beautiful place to walk in our town. . .High Park. Also, our town has numerous sidewalks. Hopefully, by the ending of the year 2012, you'll be able to walk the town in it's entireity by sidewalk. These things I remember, especially, during election of City officials. Our current mayor is a visionary man! Again, my visit was quite enjoyable!

how cool are the leaves stamped into the concrete...I'd probably trip over something by looking down to see those all the time!
The stamped leaves are a great idea. We had sun today but I could only soak it up on my face, the rest of me was covered...the high today was below freezing.
It was gorgeous outside today, wasn't it? This is such a beautiful park. I've been to Ocala many times to shop and visit horse farms. I was so sad when Griffins closed.
The leaves on the concrete is a beutiful art. Nice place to spend your day there :)
Thanks for sharing some warmth again this week.
What a great idea to imprint leaves in the concrete, makes for an interesting walk for sure.

That's a beautiful park, Diane...looks like a wonderful place to walk. We won't be doing any walking outside here for another 3 months at least! And I think the sun just forgets to shine in Ohio during the winter! :o( I'll just have to enjoy it on your blog.
XOXO,
Cyndi
What a lovely park to walk in. It has been very cold and windy where we are in Florida. I hadn't been outside for any length of time until yesterday.
Lovely photos.

Thank you for your sweet comment On Crooked Creek today! One thing that has helped me to remember to light the candles before taking photos...the old movie director shouting..."LIGHTS, camera, action!" When I say LIGHTS. . .makes me think to "LIGHT the candles", then my camera!Stop by again, soon!

That looks like the loveliest park! Our snow is melting here, but tonight we have freezing rain. I am almost ready for spring to be here -lol.
Thanks for saying I looked thin! Actually I lost a couple of pounds right after surgery, but I think it is just the angle of the picture. I need to loose about 15 pounds...

The paths do look gorgeous. Perfect for a stroll!
Every time I see pictures of this park I wish it was in my neighborhood! I loved seeing the leaf stamps in the cement. It's all so peaceful looking.
I am so impressed with the fact that you have learned to do a mosiac. I still have not learned. A friend did my header for me...bless her heart. I really do have to take the time to learn. Just so much happening.
I'm from Delaware, where it is snowing like crazy today. Your blog puts me in a good warm and fuzzy mood!
Fun to see what you are wearing in the warm weather when the calendar says "Jan!"
Thanks!!
