Condo Favs and Picmonkey Effects

Even though we live in a condo part of the year, I like to be surrounded with my favorite things.

PMDSCN1964

We got these shelves last Fall so that I had a place to display a few favs

and change them out for the seasons.

I played with some of the cubbies on Picmonkey

and changed the way they looked.

Don’t you love this effect?

It’s under effects and is called Posterize.

I love old books, don’t you?

Did you ever read old cowboy books?

I remember when I did!

I'm glad you have fun decorating at both your dwellings. Picmonkey has become a fun online photo editor. Josie is always asking me to make her pictures old fashioned looking. Silly girl.

I used to love to read old books.

Sweet shelf of goodies, and playing with pictures if one of my favorite things to do. Although it makes me spend too much time on the computer LOL

To have a few precious reminders of home where ever we go, that's always special. Lad a Dog was my mom's favorite book - a sweet reminder that we don't have to have things to have sweet memories with us all the time.

Well, I'm gonna have to check this picmomkey out. I love to rotate my collections on my hutch & shelves. It means I get to see my fine junque at least once a year. xo

I love what the 'posterize' effect did to that photo! And yes, I love old books. I have a ton of them that I've collected over the years. Lots of old readers too, my favorite being the 'Jerry and Alice' series. I'll have to blog about it some time. They were great books!

P.S. birds and apples are my favorites too, by the way. Such a pretty setting.

I'm really happy with Picmonkey - I think it's much quicker than Picnik was. I've played a little bit. ~Ann

Your shelves are beautifully vignetted with all your favorite things.

I've been playing with so many of the programs. So far iPiccy is my favorite online program. When they have collage capabilities, I'll really love it.

Your photos inspire me to edit more...I'm always in a hurry and wish I took more time! I love old cowboy books, they were much easier to find in TX though! Thanks for your sweet comment, I'm loving having a newborn again!
