...or when does it take one hour to walk one mile?
When you carry your camera! heehee!
(no editing on these photos!)
Cropping to see up close.
I walked around the pond and got really close to my subject!
You can always be sure of seeing wildflowers and wildlife when you visit Fletcher Park.

Beautiful walk and gorgeous pictures. I usually walk with a friend in our neighborhoods. I have taken my camera once before and it took us forever LOL! Have a great day Diane.
Such beautiful pictures. Love your new banner too. It's a cool spring day in MI. Chris has 15 yards of mulch sitting in our driveway. Yippee!!
Makes me want to drop the housework and get out there with the camera...it's beeeeeutiful where you live.

wow! Is this in North Carolina? Breathtaking!
I am headed outside for a walk in just a few!
But , it's not nearly that pretty where I am!
Thank you for your comment today! Hugs!

Everything takes longer with a camera in tow. It's why I don't do cooking tutorials. Ha!
Lovely pictures and a beautiful header!
Such beautiful pictures!!
Those are beautiful pictures Diane. There was a "duck pond" where I used to live with a small pond where the area ducks all seemed to settle. I didn't go often, but loved feeding them. Your pictures remind of of that spot.
I like your new header too. Considering how much you love the outddoors, it seems to fit you well. Hope you're having a wonderful weekend my friend!
Good for you learning to do banners; yours is lovely. I want to learn too! :)
Gorgeous photo's.
Have a great day!
you are a GREAT photographer. Love the crisp, sharp shots that are picture perfect! I need a better camera. What would you suggest? ~ Renae
Oh wow! Your pictures are gorgeous, and I just can't believe how pretty the sky looks. Love the new banner and PicMonkey too. Enjoy your weekend.
Beautiful! I love the detailed markings on that sweet duck -- you really captured him/her well. Your new banner is great -- I haven't tried PicMonkey yet but it's on my 'to do' list.
What a beautiful park. I can see why you would want to take your time doing a walkabout there. Love your pictures! xo Diana
Beautiful pictures - I especially liked the last one! Ann
I fell in March while running! I have been slow getting back to it. Next Friday night you can find me under the stars at our outdoor Cynthia Woods Pavilion watching the ballet Giselle. I so pray it does not rain!
Smiles. Dottie
Beautiful walk !!..enjoy a happy weekend....love Ria....xxx..
Gorgeous SOC pictures! Thanks for sharing your walk in the park.
I laughed at your riddle. I used to walk for exercise and then -- first I took up bird-watching and then digital photography, neither of which is at all calculated to provide good exercise for my body. But both are good for the soul!!
What a beautiful walk in the park! A perfect way to spend an hour :D
It's getting to be so warm that we will have to do our walking in the mornings. It's blazing hot today, and in the 90's!
The pool is a good place to be right now :D
Very warm southern hugs,
Della
Beautiful pictures!!
What a pretty place for a walk.
hugs,
Cindy
Lovely Park! I think I'll take Sidekick Scott to the park only a few miles from my home next week. Good advice!

Beautiful walk. You did not climb the fence I know.
Your blue sky looks so lovely, it has been gray here for too many days to count. I can't wait for a pretty day to trek outside!
That's beautiful! Only a few more weeks and I'll have lots of pretty parks to explore in Washington!
Such a lovely area. And good for you doing your new banner. It looks great!
What a lovely park. Your photos of the ducks are so serene.
I've been out for a short walk with my daughter, dogs and family. What a special time !!
