I had such a nice walk at Sholom Park this week. I tried to walk for 30 minutes before taking photos! It’s hard not to stop. There are so many beautiful scenes along the way.
I asked to take photos of this precious family and this budding artist!
Isn’t she sweet?
So much of the country is having crazy winter weather but it has been warm here this week!
I don’t usually sit down, but isn’t this inviting?
Did you love to draw and paint when you were a child? I think we were all artists when we were younger. Some of us are just out of practice…like me!

The park looks to be a lovely place for a walk. This is the time of year I really miss living in Florida. I think you're right about all little kids being artists. As a child my favorite things were my crayons and water colors. Happy weekend Diane. Hugs
It's hard for me to believe that it is winter there!

I agree that most of us liked to draw when we were young. Too bad we stop! I enjoyed seeing your warm weather.
Oh that is sweet! How nice of them to let you photograph them. Oh yes, I still love to paint! The bench with the ferns all around is so pretty. I love ferns!
Such a beautiful park and what a cute little girl. I can't draw worth a crap. LOL.
Loved the park pictures. We do a lot of drawing around here. Maybe not so good at it, but we keep it up. xoxo,Susie
what a beautiful park, its so nice to see children drawing, I have always been a doodler, and I suppose I always will!
What a wonderful park to take a walk. Nice pictures - especially of the little one painting. I have always loved drawing and painting. But don't do much of it anymore. Too busy with my dolls! lol
hugs sweet lady,
Pat
I did love to draw and paint as a child and had a lovely "tree house" that I would go to...alone and be in my own world. After a nursing career, I got back to my hobby and now it's my business!
Wish some of that beautiful weather would come this way:-D
A beautiful walk indeed and such a cutie. I too could color as a child - what happened?
What a pretty place to take a walk. We have a small park down in town with a walking trail. I'll have to photos of it the next time we walk the puppies down there. Too cold to right now. Heard our highs this week are going to be around 10 to 12 degress with lows around 5 to 7 degress. Brrr....
I still draw, paint, and color with my grandkids.
Have a great weekend.
hugs,
Cindy
Such a lovely post. Walking through a park is soothing. I can see the young family is enjoying their visit. I did draw when I was young.
Actually I was pretty good.
Lovely walk thanks for sharing. Yes, I painted when I was young. My grandmother was an artist and instructor so I had a paint brush in my hands before a spoon. LOL

Yes, warm hugs. This is the time of year I want to be a sun bird to fly to the warm weather.
What a beautiful park and yes that little dolly is quite the focused artist
isn't she.
So lovely. That's a great idea making yourself walk before taking pictures. I have said I used to get outside exercise, but now I have a camera!
What a sweet girl......love it !!...happy weekend...xxx...

Sweet post..I enjoy my walk xxx
What a pretty park and lovely little family.
It's true when we are children, we draw, paint, scribble, it's only when we get older that we get self conscious of the quality of our art.
That toy, was a blow up plastic reindeer. It's still a very vivid memory, I was 3, my Mom insisted I go outside because she said she wanted to take a picture of me. There are tears down my face, it's cold outside, and I [laughing] am sure she refused to let me back in.
Not that I blame her, tiny house, two kids, one [me] very active, and demanding...

Wow, everything is so beautiful! Including the budding artist!
Thank you for sharing.

Lovely park. I've always enjoyed drawing and still do whenever the spirit moves me. :)
Ahhh yes...I can tell you're back in our FL. I believe I could draw something right there in that bench. I can feel the warm breeze from here.
Beautiful park. I love to walk but it's been too cold to do so outside lately! I'm waiting for Spring. I've never been an artist! LOL....hugs, Linda
No, I can truly say that I didn't enjoy drawing or painting, though I greatly admire those who can. Some of them are in my own family. that gene passed me by. What a cute little artist in the park!
lovely pictures and the park and it's lush green are so inviting. This is worlds away from me, I live in an icy world of snow!
Hugs
Jody
How beautiful is that lash fern. Such a stark contrast to our snow covered lawn. It's 11 degrees outside too.
What a sweet family. I love that they were sketching in the park!! What a cool mom. My little Lucie sure loves to draw and create! I did too. I love your photo of the bench....very inviting!
