Did you ever walk by something of beauty….deep in thought?
I almost did when I was at the park this week.
The Tulip tree, or Japanese Magnolia is in full bloom here in Florida right now.
I tried a couple of settings and liked this shot best.
Here’s the Tulip tree I almost missed!
I’m joining my girlfriend,
Danielle for Cool Clicks Thursday.
Have you taken a photo this week that you would like to share?

So very pretty. It's very dark and gray in MI right now. Love your beautiful blooms!
Isn't the color just amazing!
Oh I just adore those trees. I wish I could see something in bloom here. I think we will early I hope.
That is so pretty!! I can't believe that it has so many blooms and no leaves!
We used to have one of those in our backyard and we just loved it. Those flowers coming out ahead of everything else are just a gift. The bark is neat on them too.
How pretty. The color is so refreshing against all of the earth tones.
So pretty, snow and 15 degrees here!
Hugs
Oh thanks for joining in!! I took several shots of this tree last week...my friend kept saying it was a type of magnolia and I totally disagreed...I am glad you clarified this for me...wasn't it beautiful?! Can you believe we actually have pollen on our cars?????

I would love to have one of these tree's but have no idea where I would plant it. They are so very pretty! Nice shot!
I love Tulip trees, and usually go to my local nursery to photograph them in the spring. Beautiful!
Isn't that the most vibrant beautiful soon to be spring color you have ever seen.
I remember the first time I ever saw those, I screeched to a halt in the middle of the road...it was so stunning.

Really beautiful! My camellias are starting to bloom and if the rain ever stops I'll get some photos! hugs, Linda

These are one of my favorite trees to bloom first in Spring--we have a "northern" version when we lived in Massachusetts. Now, I have several of its kin--magnolias that I'm awaiting to bloom. Besides baking...flowers and gardening are my thing and I love this post, XOXO
Gorgeous! I do so love Magnolias! I wanted to name my daughter Magnolia, but my Hubby vetoed that idea and we named her Magdalena, instead.....Maggie either way :)
I got a pretty bloom in there anyways and made her middle name Rose....heehee!
Thanks for sharing such a beautiful tree!
The blossoms are lovely!

That nice picture, excellent capture gorgeous this beautiful flower.
I love those tulip trees! I look for them every spring with fervor. But we won't be seeing any of those around here for a couple more months! I guess I can just sit and gaze at your photos until then. ;D
wow she sure is a beauty. Amazing, bright colors.
One of these would look great in my yard!
I've never seen one of those trees before-it is so beautiful and the flower shot is perfect. Now I'll need to keep my eyes open when going south.

OMG, you got a really good shot! gorgeous. I often see people walking with their Iphones to their ears or Ipods...I think they are missing the whole point of walking, they sure are missing some gorgeous sights!

I have never saw a tulip tree, its beautiful, we are in the middle of a deep freeze, minus 30 and the highways are closed, its frightful!
So pretty! I've never seen a tree like that.
That flower is so pretty and delicate!
Doesn't it seem early in the year for them to be in bloom? The blossoms are so pretty. It snowed here in Central Alabama today!
Beautiful - do you think winter is over?
What an unusual and beautiful tree. The magenta-like coloring is gorgeous. Your photos are also great, as always :)
Lovely tree but I know how easily you can walk past things. Recently I am making myself really look around and appreciate what I see! I planted a tulip tree in my garden 5 years ago and am still waiting for it to bloom! Joan
Wow. Very beautiful purple Magnolia flower photos. Japanese Magnolia has petals which are purple outside and white inside in Japan.
