See if you can squeeze in!

We had a White Elephant sale in our community and there was a great turnout and some neat stuff!

Here’s my ‘loot’!

TreasuresIMG_1128

My hubby stood on the sidelines and took photos…

IMG_1125

but you know me! I got right in there and found some white elephants! (I don’t think I’m in this photo though…if I am, I am just a BLUR! LOL)

IMG_1129

I had SO much fun and found some really neat things!

But my favorite? HANDS DOWN….

IMG_1130

this charm bracelet.

Here it is with the one I’ve had since I was a teenager. (a REALLY long time…like over 10 years..WAY over!)

IMG_1135

(was my wrist small or what? heehee)

You can see how well traveled I was! Let’s see, I lived in Arkansas and went to visit my Aunt Vi in Shreveport, LA and got a charm there. That’s it! lol

I’m joining Time Travel Thursday ,

and Thrifty Things Friday!

Also Katherine’s Corner for Favorite Things

and Jann for Share Your Cup !

Which treasure was your favorite?

Love the charm bracelet - I have a beautiful one from when I was a kid. I'll have to get it out and take a picture of it.

What a neat find! I have been to all of the states on your new (and old!) bracelet. I was really surprised to see Montpelier on the Idaho charm. That's where I lived! It's a small town, but is gaining notoriety from the Oregon Trail Museum in town. A bank in Montpelier was robbed by Butch Cassidy back in the late 1800's.

Oh dear, I do go on sometimes lol. Your charm bracelet is my favorite!

When I was very tiny I thought a white elephant stall sold white elephants...I was soooooo disappointed when I found out what a 'white elephant ' really was.

I recognize two charms on your bracelet. I had the little cylinder with a $1 bill inside of it and the piano - since mother made us take lessons - which I hated!

From the amount of people in the picture that looks like a fun event. Better yet, you came back with some cute finds. Can't wait to see where you put your dolls. I've always loved charm bracelets, but I don't remember seeing one with the states before. Looks like starting one would be fun when you travel.

I love the old charm bracelets! I didn't know they had state charms - how cool!

And the dragon fruit, you slice it, and peel off the hot pink rind...it's good.

We wore charm bracelets in elementary school and the teachers would get so irritated by the noise they made, they would take them up and give them back to us at the end of the day. :) Thanks for the memory!

What a neat post...and a great sale. I don't wear jewelry at all, but that charm bracelet would be so much fun. Cool idea. The contest pkg you put together in the post above looks like so much fun; I'm definitely not entering it because I'm already here in the sunshine as you know! But I'm going to go learn about that travel towel, so wanted to thank you for posting.
