Or the evergreen boughs?
I got in my car right after lunch to run several errands, one of which took me right by the entrance to Sholom Park.
So I turned in.
And I walked around for 30 minutes.
I’m not sure if it counts as exercise, since I stopped to take about 30 photos! haha
But it felt wonderful.
73 degrees with a light breeze.
Evidently not many people needed to relax today.
There were 8 cars, which meant about 10 or 12 people
and three very unfriendly turtles!
Or maybe they think they are more photogenic in profile!
My last stop, buying an evergreen wreath.
Did you hurry through your errands today
or did you take your time?

Super photos! Like the turtles! And, of course, that counts as exercise!
I hurried through mine...but I had so much to do! I did take time to smell the evergreen, because I clipped the greens from my backyard and made my own wreath! It was fun.
That park looks like a wonderful place to walk.
I would have to say that I have been on a dead run since I got home from the hospital after our little boyo was released. I want to get things done/decorated because I think I will have him here for a few hours tomorrow- xo Diana
It's been so miserable with gray skies and lots of rain in MI. Your beautiful pictures certainly brighten my mood.
I love the way you tell the story with your photos...makes me feel like I'm taking a walk too! Thanks for sharing and have a great day!
Sweet post! There's not a hurry left in me, sadly. I did ruffle the rosemary as I went past...maybe that counts. Your evergreen wreath is lovely. Hope that you can keep it out of the sun!
A beautiful place! I am trying to take my time with everything these days!
beautiful area! the turtles made me grin. :D
Good for you! Beautiful park. I did used to get more exercise before I had a digital camera with me at all times... I know exactly what you mean.
But the peace and serenity of this park was good for your soul and that counts!!!
I haven't done my errands yet today but you gave me a great reminder. The weather is similar here today too. It would be great to wander through our beautiful city park before the arctic blast hits tonight.
had a wonderful hike along the far river trail, lovely indeed!
The turtles are so cute! It's too chilly here today for a walk! Well, for me, at least. The wreath is so pretty, it looks so lush and full. Enjoy!
So glad you stopped to smell the roses, Diane, but then you knew I would be. What a beautiful place to walk and relax. Your photos are wonderful xo Laura
Beautiful photos, that's one place I'd love to see in person.
This morning was a reflective one for me, I put on some mozart and relaxed with a nice hot cup of tea.
Lovely park and I have always been one to enjoy each moment but there was a time when I allowed others to rush me along but no more.....now I'm like a slug but I love it!
Such beautiful photos! I love all the subtle colours in the last photo in the park with the pink-tipped branches in the background. I can see why you'd like to stop there for a while :) I'm now following along on your blog. Wendy x
I have to laugh...sometimes I actually run through the stores to get what I need and get out. I love that park of yours...great photos and scenery. You are having good weather...we are in for some nasty stuff soon. Take care dear friend. xoxox,Susie
Girlfriend you always take the best photos.
I love the evergreen wreath and your beautiful smile.
Woolie blessings
Ps. I loved the tea party!
What a beautiful park Diane! It felt really good checking each photo (even the disdainful turtles) as we are 'enjoying' an arctic front...
All the best,
What a beautiful park! You live near some great public places. I didn't rush today but did get tired after a little while of 'looking'.
I envy your 70 degree weather, with your beautiful photos.
I went to Wal-Mart for some household supplies, and got stuck in line longer than gathering the items.
What a beautiful place to walk or sit and contemplate life. Lucky you to enjoy such a spot on a nice warm day. That's a beautiful wreath you bought. Are they shipped there from up north? Have a nice evening. Pam
the little turtles are so cute!
Why of course, that counts as exercise! And those turtles were really sticking their noses in the air! LOL
Thanks for the walk,
Dorothy
Ahhh so pretty and green!!
Smiles, Dottie
Such a beautiful and peaceful park. I would love to sit on one of those benches and just enjoy myself.
Beautiful photos of such a gorgeous park! It's so green!
73 degrees, sure, rub it in! No flowers in bloom up here but lots of evergreens to enjoy. Didn't have any errands today but I always rush through them so I can get the heck out of town and back to the countryside that I love. It smells a whole lot better out here :O) Deb
Yep, I did take the time to smell the Roses. Time is going by so fast that if we don't take some me time we will surely get in a rutt.
Have a great day

What a lovely place and your photos are exquisite!
It is hard to imagine such beautiful weather, the wind is howling here!
That was a great idea you had! Yes, we try to take our time these days. It's so nice to be retired and we no longer have to hurry, hurry, hurry to get things done.
All that greenery looks lovely. It will be months before I see that again.
