It’s nice to enjoy the flowers that bloom year round here in Florida.
Rainbow Springs State Park is a wonderful place to spend the day and we had temps in the 80s when we were there a few days ago.
We saw hillsides of azaleas in full bloom.
I haven’t learned all of the names of the flowers.
And I don’t know what some of the bushes with berries are called.
I do know that this one is Beautyberry.
I’m joining Beautiful Sunday,
and Amaze me Monday!
But they are all beautiful!
Do you recognize some of these?

Lovely to see some colourful berries as we have a gentle snowfall outside. It's 34 F and was pretty walking the dog this morning. We're looking forward to our stay in Clearwater in February so please keep the warm temperatures for then. ;-)
Merry December 1st Miss Lavender Dreams.
Hugs
Prudence
Where's Wendy?
Beauty Berry! I have heard of it but never saw it before. No wonder the name. The color is beautiful. We have NO flowers here in the PNW now until the Camelias start to bloom in February.
you've got great color around you.
Pretty Purple! I wish it was still warm in my neck of the woods to enjoy flowers. Until then, I'll enjoy looking at yours, =)
My mom has a Beauty Berry plant in her yard. My sister was just telling me to look for the red berries which grow wild. She picks them to decorate with at Christmas. I'm off today to Tampa, will look for azaleas!
Lovely colourful berries on the shrubs and trees.
The azalea I recognize, but that first photo of the berries in a string are so lovely...wonderful variations of color.
Happy December to you my friend! They're all beautiful but I don't know any of them! LOL
Beautiful flowers and berries even though I have no idea what most of them are. I would love for it to be in the 80s and be able to walk through an arboretum. It's in the 20s here in Philadelphia.
Have a great weekend.

These are gorgeous blooms and I don't know any of them except for the Beauty Bush which I've seen on other blogs. They certainly don't grow up here! Have a great week Diane!
I rarely know the "name" of most plants/flowers but I know what I like! And I like these!
Oh, the beautiful colors...I love the orange honeysuckle...I have one here. Stopped blooming long ago. The purple berry is what I call a "pretty bush". I do not know the botanical name for it...Such lovelies to see during this season. Blessings!
They are so pretty! I need to get out in our parks and see what is around here! Gorgeous Sunday share sweet Sis!
hugs,
Linda
The beauty berry certainly lives up to its name. They don't look real. Your post has warmed me up after a very cold day :-) x
With all those pretty berries, I can imagine all the birds that would be there at the park. I can't believe the temperature :):) Blessings, xoxo,Susie

I always learn something new from your blog.
Your mosaic is beautiful. The top left branches would be lovely in a Christmas Wreath.
Such beautiful flowers. Reminds me of spring already, which is a long ways away.
The colors of these flowers are so bright and beautiful, Diane!
Oh, I was going to jump up and down and shout beauty berry, beauty berry! I have two in the front garden although they don't have that lovely display that yours have. Love all these berries. I'm a berry girl int eh autumn. I want to get a pyrocantha next spring just for the berries. :) Hope you have a lovely week ahead and big hugs right back to you. :)
These berries would be lovely on a wreath - are you thinking of this Diane.
Gorgeous colour.
Shane

So very pretty indeed! Florida does have some amazing plants. I loved seeing the berries and flowers.
So beautiful ... we certainly are blessed with year-round beauty are we not! And I have another state park to add to my 'to be visited' list!!
I've seen the beauty berry around here, and azaleas. There's such a wonderful variety and diversity of flowering plants; it's just amazing.
Thanks for sharing the pretty color!
Hard freeze here few nights ago and everything is limp.
Have a great week.
Me too name mate :) Most of the beautiful flowers I see are nameless for me haha
So refreshing to see the December blooms! Thank you for forever linking up. Wishing you a great week and happy holidays!
That Beautyberry looks amazing. I've never seen it before. Florida has some interesting looking flowers.
I have always thought that flowers are the magic in our lives.
Love,
~Sheri
BEAUTIFUL!!! I have no idea what most plants are called either, but the one bush you showed with the deep lavender tiny berries, I have one in my side garden, and I am the one who bought it and planted it. I often times, just buy a plant for shade, or low sun and the colors~
Well, I recognised Beauty Berry - we have it up here too. How lovely to have so much colour around. At this time of year we begin to yearn for colour against the big cedars.
Sounds like you are having beautiful weather.. Such pretty photos.
