We watched our first Christmas movie last night.
As a matter of fact, I didn’t even remember it being a Christmas movie. I was just in the mood for a sweet old Walt Disney show.
Buster decided it was ‘his’ special movie and he found a good spot to watch.
“This is my favorite part….can you pause it?”
Ahhhhh…..Lady!
I think I can see even better over here.
And now for the BIG picture!
I’ve done a little decorating over the weekend and I’ll keep ‘playing’ and adding more and share close ups soon.
What’s your favorite Christmas movie?

I LOVED Lady & the Tramp! When I was young my parents took us to Disney World and my prize there was a stuffed Lady!
I think you need a real Buster :-)
So adorable! My favorite is The Christmas Story.
Ha! Looks like Buster really enjoyed the movie -- I think he's got a crush on Lady! I've always loved that movie -- the spaghetti part gets me every time!
Cute post. How old are we? Forever young. We always watched Rudolph with Burl Ives.
Lady and the Tramp was one of the first movies I saw as a child. My favorite Christmas movie is The Christmas Story. I have it memorized. xo Laura
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! My favourite movie with the kids is Home Alone, I never get tired of it. When on my own, Scrooge has to on. I love the newest one with Jim Carrey in it, the attention to detail is amazing. Enjoy the decorating. xx

i'd have to say the classic rudolph.
This is an adorable post! My favorite is National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. I think my husband and I know it by heart after all these years!

I love this movie! I think I need to get it for Tiger and watch it with him! I'm not sure I have a favorite Christmas movie, lol. Love your decorating, I'm working on mine this week! :)
I and hubby like Christmas Vacation too.
Your place looks lovely!
We have a large screen also.
Like being at the show right.
We watched two nights ago.
Christmas with the Celtic woman. The Celic Christmas in England.
What heavenly voices.
The one lady dances and plays the violin.
There is also the Celic thunder with men only . I am sure will be soon.
They all sing just as good.
I like the old man I call him.
George MCDonald with my fav song of him singing. I'm Going to Be.
Mine is hands down, "White Christmas" but a close second is "The Bishop's Wife." Any Disney movie is a great choice, too.
Hugs,
Meri
I like the Grinch movie.
Buster is so sweet!!

Happy December~~ I would never have thought of this being a Holiday movie, but it sure is now that you remind me. I love your puppy, I wouldn't mind having one like that.
I love your relaxing room.
Fav Christmas movie - Christmas Comes to Willow Creek.
I love that movie and all your book shelves around entertainment cabinet!
I have a few faves: "Love, Actually" and "About a Boy"
I had no idea that Lady and The Tramp was a Christmas movie either! Guess it has been a while since I've watched it too. Love all your pictures from your previous posts too!
My favourite, Diane? The Christmas Card...
Hugs,
I never thought of it as a Christmas movie either - I must have watched it dozens of times with my kids. Jock is my favorite! I saw someone mention the Albert Finney "Scrooge" movie, I love that one too, but all time favorite is "It's a Wonderful Life" They are showing it at a theater nearby on Christmas Eve and I really would love to see it on the really big screen! Ann
What a beautiful family room you have, Diane! I haven't seen Lady and the Tramp in years and didn't remember it was a Christmas movie. I don't have a special favorite, but my family always has to watch Christmas Vacation and/or Home Alone. They are both good and we laugh like we've never seen them before!
Add me to the 'I didn't know it was a Christmas movie' club, but I do remember I loved it! I suppose 'It's a Wonderful Life' would be my fav.
You had me thinking Buster was for real for a minute...lol.
Jen
I'm not much for Disney, but love that old how the Grinch stole Christmas with Boris Karloff narrating. You know the one? Love his voice. :)
What a sweet post, Diane. I love watching Disney movies sometimes. My favorite Christmas show is "White Christmas." It's a classic that I watch every year.
Enjoy the season!
Love,

Buster is too cute watching a Christmas movie!! I have a little Yorkie stuffed animal that watches over me in my sewing room. I tried to have it in the living room, but my Yorkie girls wouldn't stop barking at it. I think they thought he was real...too funny!
hugs,
Cindy
Your dog is so adorable! I love how he watches TV with you.
I don't know if I have a FAVORITE Christmas movie. I watch a lot of the specials on TV. I guess if I had to choose one it would be "It's a Wonderful Life." My favorite TV special is "A Charlie Brown Christmas".

My favorite Christmas movie is Bells of St. Mary's and cry at the end every time even though I know what happens.
How did that bear get in on the tea party with the dolls? That's a nice collection. I've heard it best to have your collection in one place like you do, but I still have stuffed animals all over my house.
So cute :) Blessings
You have the sweetest child like spirit.....
Hugs, Dottie
Hands down, my favourite Christmas movie is "It's A Wonderful Life". Cry my heart out each time I see it. I don't remember Lady and The Tramp as a Christmas movie either, I always remember the scene where they are eating spaghetti :O) Deb
I just saw Lady and the Tramp pajamas in Vermont's Country Store catalog. :) Merry Christmas.
