“Miss Bee”

When it’s sunny outside….which is most of the time here in Florida….I want to be outside.

graceBeeIMG_1329

But this past week we’ve had some misty cool weather so I spent my days sewing and crafting.

missbee2IMG_1334

I went to pinterest to find this pattern HERE but didn’t see any directions, just the pattern pieces.

I’ve made a lot of bunnies over the years though so it wasn’t hard to figure out how to put it together.

bbcloseIMG_1326

A couple of tips though if you decide to make one.

I printed out the pattern pieces and cut them out with regular scissors.

IMG_1337

Then when I cut the fabric with my sewing scissors (cutting paper dulls sewing scissors), I cut a little bigger for seam allowance. And I took the time to label the pattern pieces in English and how many to cut. So I cut 2 at a time and then put the cut pieces on top of the fabric to get the exact same size for the other leg and arm.

Grace is dressed in a cute little white eyelet dress and bunny slippers so she wanted to pose with Miss Bee.

WHOA….looks like another one in the making!

I hope you’ve had a good week. Have you had a chance to do something fun if you were stuck inside?

How cute! Love that blue fabric too. And I think you would have been good friends with my mother-- she had "fabric" scissors for the exact same reason you mentioned (and I do too).

Hi Miss Lavender Dreams,

Oh, what sweet friends, love those bunny slippers.

Looks like we will have lots of crafting time this week, big snowstorm on its way and we are so excited. But at least the minus degree days are behind us, that isn't so much fun. Now when it's in the 20's we laugh and say "spring time". Giggle.

Hugs,
Prudence ♥

She's precious! I love her heart tie and cute ears! And Grace is so sweet with her bunny toy and slippers! When my kids were little we called all slippers "bunnies"! Actually, we still do!

The bunny is AdoRaBle and you've provided great tips. It's more complicated than anything I do with bunny making, though. I had trouble with a sock rabbit! LOL

Both of these are so sweet! I could never make a bunny but I sure enjoy seeing yours. My late mom had a friend that made bunnies and dressed them. She drove up to our house with one for mother and the bunny was buckled in with the seat belt - that gave us a big chuckle!

Cute bunny!!
We been stuck inside for weeks...the only time we go out is when we need to get groceries. It has just been to bitter cold to be outside for very long.
I've been crocheting some head wraps with flowers on them...and having lots of time with the puppies snuggled in a blanket on my lap.
hugs,
Cindy
