My Life - “Choices”

I was talking to my sweet cousin Cindy on the phone yesterday and we were sharing what places we’ve visited and photographs we’ve taken…what projects we’re working on and good books we’re reading, and I thought once again what an interesting life I live.

Hubby and I hiked on some ‘new’ trails yesterday and that was great fun.

A few glimpses into what’s going on this week to keep me busy…

(same outfit I wear a lot, maybe I need to shop for new clothes this week! lol)

Vee will have her note card party (starting tomorrow) and the Downton Abbey discussion on Thursday.

My girlfriend Danice from Homespun Hannah asked me to tell her friends that she is offline waiting for a new computer cooling fan and will be posting again soon.

AND festivals and art shows are in full swing here in Florida.

Feb 22, 23 Cracker Days and Native Plant Sale, Rainbow Springs State Park

Feb 22, 23 KNAP-IN AND STONE-AGE ARTS FESTIVAL, Silver Springs State Park

Feb 23 Fine Arts Show, Palm Grove Auditorium, walking distance from our house

I’m busy making a bear, too!

(still a jumble of parts but he has EARS! lol)

What’s going on in your world this week?

The hikes you all take look wonderful. DO you ever come upon snakes or alligators.. I hope not. VBG You ask what is going on in my world..I was pretty excited to teach a needle felting class which has always been a dream.. Love it. I wish I could attend some of your craft show.. I wonder if they sell needle felted wool creations in Florida?? Hugs Judy

Those are obviously your comfy hiking clothes and they look just wonderful to me. Do you have to run to catch up with your hubby? Thanks for adding the info. Wasn't DA good last night? I'm working on getting specific moments.

Hi Judy. So nice to see that you can get out and walk. I would imagine that see all sorts of wildlife. He we still have snow on the ground, but it is warming up so the snow will melt quickly. We have a busy week here, so nice weather is welcomed. The little bear looks cute.

Are you dressing Teddy?

All sounds nice. Be sure to show the bear when he's finished. Not sure what I'll be doing this week. We're under another winter storm warning so it depends on the weather.

Oh I'd love a nice walk right now. Too cold and slippery out. Yes, that was a doll from our Pat C. I just ordered the new one with the green dress. Her name is Kate. I will use her to decorate for St. Patrick's Day. No one can match her dolls, can they?

You're so fortunate to have so much to do and so many beautiful places to roam.

Our weekend newspaper was full of things to see and do this month. One can hardly decide! Sounds like your enjoying our sun and your bear has such great ears. I'm sure he's going to be fantastic when finished. Have a beautiful week!

Nice trails Diane and looking forward to the finished bear!
P.S. Have you noticed how at our age we tend to purchase mostly a favourite style/colour in apparel?
All the best,

Hiking in capris ... soon! I can't wait to get hiking again. Ice in the woods is keeping me away for a while yet. Your bear looks a bit double-jointed! He looks like he'll be a good listener with those ears ;) Have a great week, Wendy x

Your hikes are such a welcome change of scenery. Another snow storm is brewing outside. We are having a serious case of cabin fever. Downton Abbey was fabulous this week.

I love hiking trails! You seem to have quite a few. I don't think I live anywhere near any so I just forge my own. LOL!
Are you using a pattern for your bear? He looks so cute thus far.
The arts and crafts shows sound fun too.

It's wonderful that you take advantage of all the wonderful walking trails. I didn't know they had set up so many!! At least this time of years, you don't to worry about the snakes and too many bugs!!
I do hope that you get a chance to paddle also!! There are a zillion places to kayak/canoe that will take your breath away!!
You must do Juniper Run!! Easy 4 hour paddle
!!
