I look forward to Sunday nights for the latest episode of Downton Abbey.
But Wednesdays we meet at a Haven for Vee for a fun discussion.
And look what I have to share this week!
I won this book from Lesa at Percolating Today. It has the scripts of season one and also some great photos.
Isn’t it wrapped pretty? And look what a beautiful Valentine she sent me! Thanks Lesa.
I put it on my dresser to enjoy!
Lesa lives here in Florida, too so it’s fun to get to know her and share our love of Florida. Visit her blog HERE.
And join us HERE for the latest and greatest Downton Abbey discussion!

Ha! I have that same book! Isn't it fun. And a friend gave me a little 'recovery' gift yesterday, a dark chocolate bar and a little book entitled, 'Downton Tabby.' It is hilarious! :-)
Good Morning Diane, I love Downton Abbey as well and there are lots of things I could share with you, but I must not, as I don't want to spoil your viewing.
Have fun reading the scripts.... are you reading the book out aloud?
Best wishes
Daphne
I wish that I had a scripts book for Season 4 besides taking notes! LOL! Thanks for the link love. Ohhhhh...what a beautiful love letter envelope...so romantical....("romantical" is a word from the Larkrise to Candleford lexicon).
I don't have the book, and have never watched Downton Abbey, but have heard good things about it. The Valentine is gorgeous!
What a fun gift to receive! You always have the best luck at giveaways, LOL.
Hello Diane! I'm so glad the book arrived safely. Without benefit of a box, I always over-tape due to our often unexpected rain. And I'm even happier that you're enjoying the book. Thanks so much for your kind words about the card too. It looks right at home with your angels on your dresser. Hope you're having a beautiful day and thanks again! Love and hugs!
Good Morning Sweet Lady!
Here I am enjoying the brightness and happiness of your blog-always, always such a treat to visit and oh what a great win!! Love the Valentine too!
Happy Hugs,
Jemma
You know I love my Downton Abbey! Enjoy the book! I'm trying to stay warm on this icy day in Georgia!
hugs, Linda
I am quite sure that you have great DA discussions and good fun. As an old literature teacher, I knew that such discussions always enriches the literature because it is so good to hear how others view the story.
Oh I'm so jealous! What a wonderful book to win- I just took a Downton book out of the library- can't get enough of that series!
Cheers
love the show. i wonder what will happen next? this past weekend was way out there. i never would have guessed. does Florida ever get snow? calling for it here. we will see??! ( :
I am a big fan of Downton Abbey. :)
Another Floridian?! Yay!
Why am I not surprised you won another gift? I LOVE IT!! You deserve many more.
Okay, I have to catch up with DA one of these days. Is there a quick way to get up to date? I'm going to try to watch this Sunday.
Love the header.
Happy Valentine's!

Cool, I love Downton Abbey too but I just finished season 3 and I am waiting for season for on DVD or online. Love your new blog banner!
I don't have cable so last year I purchased the DVD set and watched it non-stop. I started to wake up in the middle of the night thinking to myself in English accents! :)
I bought the series on iTunes and can watch it on Sunday, but I honestly never remember. Steve is lying on the sofa recuperating from surgery so tonight when we get him propped into bed, I must remember to get caught up.
What a fun win - I miss Matthew.
It's such a fun series and congrats for winning the book!
Oh I love DA too! Always rushing home from church on Sun night to see it. It's the only thing on TV I really take the time to watch. Looks like a great book.
Congratulations on your treasures! I love Downton Abbey! :-)
Oh- I am so smitten with Downton Abbey. I can hardly stand it! lol That is the fastest "hour" of TV I have ever watched. xo Diana
I love Downton Abbey and watch it every Sunday night at 9:00....before that it's Doc Martin all on PBS. I want that book! I'm so glad you posted about it! Thank you!
What a wonderful win, Diane! I am totally enchanted with Downton Abbey, although this season has it's dark sides. This book looks like it would be fun to read. My daughter, in NYC, has had some business related meetings with Dan Stevens (Matthew) and she says he is very charming and down-to-earth. (Even though he broke our hearts by leaving the series)
Enjoy your reading!
xoxo
Joyce
