That's quite the web! I hate it when I walk through a web... yuck! It's not the sticky web I mind, it's the thought that there might be a big creepy crawly spider on me somewhere...
That spider web is amazing...I had to call my DH over to see it too! I love the colorful baskets on you header...they are what first drew me to your blog. Now I look forward to following. Although we live in Maine, we love traveling in the south...Charleston, Savannah, St. Augustine...where are you? Have a great week! Cheryl
What a beautiful web! They are so amazing and that a small spider can make all of that over night! I photographed one a few months ago, so pretty to see in person! Wishing you a lovely day too!! xo Holly
I have actually run into one that big, built across my back door during the middle of the night. It was a very ugly way to start the day on my way to work! UGH!
yewww I hate to run into a web my mother always said it was bad luck. It sure is because you now have a spider running around in your hair ewwwwww. Cathy
Okay Diane, was this a joke or real? I'm feeling very gullible right now. Unfortunately I'm seeing it on a 2" screen, so I am at a disadvantage. Lol Have a wonderful evening. We're watching a George Gently mystery. :-)
Hi Diane! It is good to be able to read your blog again. Guess what. I am the kind who always ends up with cobwebs sticking to my hair, face or arms. Sometimes I feel like they do that on purpose and cast those invisible silky threads on my path, at the right height. Those cheeky spiders! Hugs, Arlette
Ewwwww. I don't like spider webs!! I've been know to walk around the yard or down the deck steps with my hands waving in front of me getting the webs out of my way. LOL
Oh, I had one of those on my patio with a big ugly spider. Unfortunately I didn't see it before I walked into it. The neighbors still think I am a crazy woman one month later. xo Laura
I am not, not, not a spider person..so you would have been picking me up off the ground in a dead faint..or stepped over me and kept going! They scare me to death! Big hugs for not seeing you for so long. Almost time to dress the dollies for Christmas! :)
Now THAT'S what I call a spider web! I think that might be one of the biggest I've ever laid eyes on. An awful lot of work went into that. Must be a serious diy spider ;).
Lol, tell me about it! I end up wearing all the cobwebs these days as I take a walk thru my garden. Then, there was the other one who spun his web right on my car's side mirror and hung on for a ride x town. He can go home and tell his family of the great windstorm of 2014!
Lavender has long been a favorite flower and color of genteel ladies. This shade of purple suggests refinement along with grace, elegance, and something special.

That looks like a Banana Spider's web. They are harmless but can give you a good scare if you don't see it until you are too close for comfort.
