McIntosh Florida 1890’s Festival

I look forward to this festival all year round! So do 35,000 other people! Look at those big beautiful Live Oaks with Spanish moss hanging from them, shading the streets!

It’s HUGE and has the best variety of arts and crafts I’ve ever seen.

I was so happy to see Samantha again this year. She blogs HERE.

And do some ‘fun’ shopping.

So what did I buy?

IMG_9502

I like getting a lot of little inexpensive things and there was a nice variety this year at all prices.

The little doll quilt was only $10 and made from an old quilt.

IMG_9503

This little doll is from Samantha’s booth.

IMG_9510

I love the bunny and cute pillow and old bobbins.

IMG_9512

My ‘splurge’ was this small leather journal and handmade leather bracelet.

IMG_9508

It was GREAT FUN and I didn’t ‘break the bank’!

I’m joining the Vintage Inspiration Link party HERE,

Ivy and Elephants HERE

Vintage Bliss Tuesdays HERE

and Tweak it Tuesday!

The weather was fabulous! In the 70s the entire time we were there.

When we got there this parking lot was FULL! Time to go home!

Have you been to a Fall Festival this year?

I so envy you! I would love to be able to attend this craft show. I haven't been to a Fall festival this year, but I'm working hard on my crafts for the Fall week-long show I have in Nov. Wish you could come to San Antonio for that one my friend.

Sweet hugs,
Pat

Forgot - you made some great buys!

You found some cute things, Diane. I love the journal and the cute blanket and doll. I didn't take time to go to a festival this year, we've been too busy. Yours looked like fun under the shade of those grand old trees!

It looks like such a fun place to visit. I used to craft quite a bit when I was younger. You walked away with some fun items.

That fall festival would be a lot of fun and I like the sweet leather journal and bracelet you bought. There was a Fall Craft Fair in town a few weeks ago but I didn't get to it. The Christmas market should be coming up the first weekend in November. Have a great week.

What a beautiful setting for a fall festival. Love the sweet treasures you brought home with you. Thanks for sharing at Vintage Inspiration Party.

Yes, we just visited Apple Hill last weekend, which is similar to a festival and sells apple goodies of all kinds. What a fun place this is, Diane. The doll quilt is so cute, and the doll with the believe tag is precious. I loved the letter to Santa pillow. I think that was my favorite. This is a great place, and I bet you love to go every year.

Thank you for your thoughts and comment on my father-in-law. I appreciate that so much.

love,
~Sheri

That looks like a great fair. Of course my eyes went to the rag dolls. But I really love that quilt. $10 are you kidding. The little wallet and bracelet are nice as well. There are some sales here this week-end. I am hoping that I can go.
I love the moss in the trees. When my son and his wife went to FSU, I so enjoyed Tallahassee. Hugs

Marty especially approves of the little girl bunny, LOL! We had to forgo any visits to craft shows lately. There is a really good one coming up in mid-November (our favorite!), but I don't think DH will be feeling good enough for us to go.
