Enjoying a ‘windy’ day!

It’s not nearly as cold here in Florida this week but we did have a blustery day so I stayed inside. Hubby went to the bagel shop for fresh bagels so life is good.

AND I received my giveaway win from Betsy at My Salvaged Treasures. Thank you, Betsy!!!

It’s a calendar by artist, Kirsty Elson featuring her driftwood houses and villages. Betsy wrote, “Kirsty is a multi talented artist who creates these amazing little driftwood houses, villages, and lighthouses from objects she finds along the beach near her home in Cornwall.”

Isn’t it beautiful? And just my style!

Congratulations on you win....I enjoy seeing all the new calendars each year. There are some really good ones out there. It's pretty chilly here in East Texas. I like your attitude....looking Up and looking ahead.

I have seen her creations-- aren't they creative?? My calendar this year is barn shots. Probably the closest I'll get to the real thing!

That is really interesting artwork in the calendar. I guess my favourite is the Old Farmers Almanac Gardening Calendar which I've bought the past 3 years. It has useful information on it. Enjoy the weekend! I hope it warms up for you.

Wonderful calendar. We have one with birds and a description of each.

Stay warm and don't get caught up in the wind, you could land in WNC. Giggle.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Lucky you - that is a wonderful calendar - and a great idea. I don't have a calendar so far this year. I make one for Don's office every year featuring my photographs but I don't have one for myself. Last year our grandson Ben made a calendar of pictures he took of their cat - I was kind of hoping for another one this year.

We are having chilly weather and rain is on its way. Time to dig out those doll patterns and try some new clothes for the girls.

You are so welcome Diane. I love her creations and the next best thing to having one of my own will be to enjoy a new picture each month.

Cool calendar. No, I do have a fav. I just use the free ones picked up at the feed store and the one that a real-estate guy sends out every year. LOL. You will enjoy yours and the photos will probably become savers.

Hi Diane,
Love your sky photos always! We have some blue in the sky today but we also had some snow this morning, maybe a couple inches, so it's mostly cloudy. Still cold. My daughter and her husband landed in Florida this morning! Wish I was there! You won another giveaway--I think you win them all my friend!

Diane, I still do not have my desk calendar. I need it, I write every thing on it. I turned free calendars, now I wish I had one. LOL. It's been too nasty and cold to go anywhere to shop this past week. I am glad you are having nice weather. I do like that new calendar, lucky you. :):) Blessings for a great weekend. xoxo,Susie

Lovely calendar Diane! I always make a calendar for us each year from some of the amazing free printables that folks share on the 'net, fun to do and then you can add in your own family birthdays and holidays. Hope you enjoyed the bagels and batten down the hatches, hope you don't get blown away!

Bagels yum! It IS a little chilly for Florida right now isn't it? But we got outside and walked anyway and just like your part of the state, the sky was beautiful! Were pretty lucky aren't we!

I don't have a favorite calender for the year yet. I like scenery with a Bible verse....or something small a magnet will hold to my frig. I liked what you said...hubby went for bagels so life is good....isn't it true....little things bring the sun out on ordinary days....then again, is any day ordinary? hugs, Maggie =)

Gorgeous calendar. I love the idea of creating from the flotsam and jetsam that drifts up onto the beach. There's a lot of it around here!
My favorite calendar is one made for me by my daughter, featuring one of my darling granddaughters!
