Roses Help!

They help you feel better.

RosesCropFRIMG_1425

Hubby walked in with a bouquet of roses for me while I was suffering with kidney stones. I’m much better now and can enjoy them even more now.

Thanks for all of the sweet comments. It seems most everyone has either had them or knows someone that did. I appreciate the suggestions about what to do to prevent them and plan to take action! I know I am drinking more water now. I usually drink lots of water but cut back this winter which was probably a mistake.

So roses help and so does all of your concern and kindness.

(roses are in an old Hoosier glass vase I bought at the thrift store for a quarter. Love my thrift finds! And I always forget to put a pretty ribbon around my vase, Stephanie!)

I’m joining the Vintage Inspiration Link party HERE,

Have a happy healthy week!

I think it's pretty certain that once one has suffered through kidney stones, it's not likely they'll forget to drink enough water. :-)) So glad that's over for you. What a cheery, sweet gesture to give you those beautiful roses. Stay well, enjoy them, and go drink a glass of water. :-))

They are gorgeous! I missed that you had kidney stones...Count me among those that have. The urologist said there is many people in Florida because of the heat. I had many for about 4 years then realized it was from chewing Tums (Antacids) like candy, I had no idea they had so much calcium in them. Even to this day if I take any calcium it shows up in my urine. So, I have been clear for 29 years...Yea. Hope you never have another problem

Your roses are beautiful with or without a ribbon! Glad your little dolly has undies! Why don't they come with undies?
I don't drink enough water in the winter either. Of course, I live where it is very cold, and coffee tastes so good then! You and I will have to make a pact to drink more water!
