Slumber party in the Library “Wednesday Wee Ones”

I decided for a couple of weeks, I would allow the dolls to take over the library.

They wanted to have a slumber party so what could I say?

Do you see we have a ‘new girl’?

Her name is Zeta and I made her a pretty blue robe and pjs for the party.

Two of these girls are Madame Alexander dolls and my new girl in the blue robe is an 18 inch doll from Walmart called My Life.

They have a little table set up with cake and tea

and books…lots of books.

The girls must be very happy to be in the library. I have yet to buy one; too many other things right now to take care of. I would love to have my dolls sitting out. I have my mother in law's childhood table and chairs and my mother's childhood tea set and my old dolls that I used to set out having a tea party. But now with grandchildren who like to play with everything and a dog that runs crazy through the house, now way. My 2 year old granddaughter plays tea party with the plastic Barbie tea set an I love watching her pretend play, so it is worth it. I am glad, too, to enjoy your dolls.

Diane,
They all get along so well and who wouldn't love this sleep over complete with a pony and did I see a Unicorn too?
Oh, one of my favorites The Tale Of Benjamin Bunny!
Have a happy day, sweet friend.
Hugs,
Jemma

Oh what fun - the dollies and their party are so cute. I have my post up - winter clothes that I recently finished.

I love all the tiny books - where did you get them - my dolls don't have any books and they tell me they want to read some.

Your slumber party is so sweet. And love the new girl - she's just so cute in her new clothes.

So cute, Diane!!! I hope those innocent-looking little girls don't get into a pillow fight, or you're going to have a mess to clean up. ;-) Have a happy and fun day, friend.

You have such pretty dolls! I wish I had such nice dolls when I was young. Love the new gal, and her robe should be nice and cozy. I see "Mrs Tiggy Winkle" there in the stack of books. One of my favourite stories when I was young. I remember receiving that book, and remember my mom reading it to me. I loved the little mystery of who was this strange little creature. Of course I had no idea what a hedgehog was then either. I thought it was a British word for porcupine.

Would my granddaughters have fun at your house (well. I would too.) Your dolls look well dressed. I was glad to read in your Downton post that you feel like the scenes are dark (poor lighting). I thought so too and thought it was my eyes!!

Hope you have a great weekend!
