Fences, Real or Imagined!

When you post photos of fences every week, you find yourself looking for them everywhere!

And if you live in a make believe world some all of the time, you see all kinds of interesting things.

These started off looking like this.

And overnight they popped open to the most beautiful shapes I’ve ever seen.

It made my imagination go wild and the next thing I knew, I saw fairies

and Hansel

and even a skunk.

Just to give you an idea of where I was playing!

(wonder what the neighbors thought!)

Please don’t kick me out, Tex. I’m just sure there was a fence around them all too!

And just so I don’t get thrown out of fairyland the Good Fences party, here’s a photo I took out the side window of my car this week.

I’m joining Tex for the

Good Fences party.

Throw you out? Why, because you took the Good Fences out of their box? HO says a fence can't be mushrooms, flower boarder, the sky's the limit and I for one love your "stepping out of the box". Keep going.....

Hugs

As for your neighbors - Diane who? Giggle.

What a cute post, Diane. I have thought about the same thing when I see these mushrooms popping up...and I do like to imagine a fence here and there too when I don't see one :)

Diane,
Your "make believe world" looks like a very happy and creative place! I love your little fairy land mushroom village. Someday I'm going to join this fence party as I love seeing them too, and your shot of the fences with the sun on the field is gorgeous.

Now fungi would be the last thing I thought would grow there...lol.

A friend told us that puff balls are edible..all of my childhood I've been told that they were deadly poisonous go figure...not that I plan on trying them.

Yes Diane...you have a very vivid imagination...lo.

Diane, I never thought of mushrooms as fences but it makes sense. We have mushrooms growing here and there and sometimes they look creepy. But if I imagine them fairy fences, maybe they won't creep me out so much!

I can't see a mushroom growing outdoors without thinking of fairies taking shelter underneath! How much fun!!
Have a wonderful weekend Diane. xo

Oh... Dearest Diane! How very special you are...I love how you use your imagination...not many do anymore, you know! It is truly so refreshing... In fact, you remind me of my precious grandmother...she is in her late sixties already but so young at heart that we have the best of times together discussing all our latest discoveries and projects...it is such fun! :). We are like two little girls when we get together - what everyone must think of us I don't know! Haha!
Aww! Loved your Good Fences this week!

Sending you lots of love and big hugs!
