I think this Great Egret looks perfect in the landscaping across the street.
Don’t you?
Well, maybe we’ll move him next door.
What do you think?
Does he look better over here? Hahaha!
Hey Lady, I’m outta here!

You have such a knack for being in the right place at the right time! That one picture really does look like a lawn ornament.
Great photos, Diane! Send one of those up my way to grace our front yard. Lol
I love those "moving " lawn ornaments lol, !!!!
Great series. love it. You got me laughing so hard with your humor.
What a beauty, Diane, and so nice for you to have this guy wandering through your neighborhood! I get the occasional crow :) Love the photo of him in the flowers! Have a lovely weekend. Hugs xo Karen
Now if he'd only stand on one leg and pose! He looks a bit lost, or maybe he was on a mission! :)
I wish he would visit our yard! I'd pack away the 101 gnomes (just kidding, but I must tell the kids to stop giving me garden angels).
That was a lovely lawn ornament Diane V(^_^)V
Ther are such amazing birds.
Cute as can be. Wishing you a wonderful Saturday evening, Diane.
He looks great anywhere. You have great photos, too. I saw them in Texas on the fly and never could get a photo of them.
I really really like this!!! How marvelous. And just across the street from you....incredible. Here, across our street we may be lucky to see a sparrow or two.
I'd love to have you stop by I'd Rather B Birdin' and add your link to share with all the other bird enthusiasts.

I love the Great Egret. I had one visit my yard one day. I followed it around with my camera, stayed real close to it. It was so neat that it chose the path through my gardens that I normally take visitors. It came back later in the day and did the same thing. Then, I never saw it again.

Ha-ha, I agree with you, he's a natural:@)
Diane, I can't tell if the bird is real or not! I think it's real. :-)
Beautiful! They look like a lawn ornament! Lol
Oh I agree - and I think he would be perfect for your yard - now to figure out how to get him to stand still. Lovely lovely photos.
Hello Diane!

You are too funny Diane!!
I thought your Egret was a real yard ornament!!!
I just returned from Mom's and her neighbor actually has two yard egrets that do look real!! I had to examine the legs to see if you were pulling MY leg.
I think he would look elegant on anyones lawn. Have a great week ahead.
Great shots of your pretty real yard ornament! Have a nice Sunday!
I'm so pleased you decided to share this link at the Bird D'Pot this weekend. They're marvelous photos and everyone there will enjoy viewing these.

Your egret reminds me of a blue heron that lives on our lake. So beautiful.
