We had a fabulous day at the Fair! We decided to go on Friday and when we walked up to the entrance, they told us it was Senior Day and our admission was FREE!
The weather was gorgeous and the fair was wonderful! Look at the mountains in the background!
We watched people on the rides (many screaming their heads off) and smelled the cotton candy.
We ate free apples, peeled and cored and had chicken strips for lunch. (that’s as brave as we could be! haha)
There’s so much to share but I’ll have to be brief. I don’t want to take a break from blogging but we have limited internet right now so I’ve had to cut way back. Please excuse me if I don’t get to visit as often. I’ll catch up properly when we get back to Florida.
I’m joining Beautiful Sunday and
Lavender Cottage for Mosaic Monday.

Hello dear Diane and oh, looks like you've had such fun this weekend! How delightful you had free admission into the fair...it does look and sound like you had a fantastic time...I certainly enjoyed all your lovely pictures!
Enjoy the new week...sending big hugs to you!

Hi Diane! Thank you for taking the time to let us follow you on your trip. It is good to read that your husband and yourself are having a good time. I can totally relate to your kind of courage, my friends. I would definitely stick to eating and only to activities that don't involve heights and crazy speed.
Anyway keep having lots of fun!
Love,
Arlette
What fun! Thanks for sharing. We are heading back home from a week long beach trip; time to get back to the real world:(
Blessings,
Cindy
That looks like a fun day!
That looks like so much fun! The Texas State Fair starts this next week. Love me a corny dog!!
Beautiful time of year, what a fun time you and your hubby have!
hugs,

I would like to go to the fair, maybe next year. Last week we had a painter here painting the guest bathroom (it was bright red and the ceiling was the same color, I could give you a headache). Dining room and finishing up the new kitchen and then we are done until after the new year.
Have a wonderful weekend.
This must be the time for country fairs. I just read about one on another blog. I love those mountains, so mysterieous somehow.
That looks so fun. My boys spent the summer in Hendersonville. I only got to visit for one day and it was not nearly enough time. xoxo

What wonderful photos. My grandsons want that big ice cream cone - they did say they would share. Hee Hee. Lovely photos, the pretty gondolas look great - but I'm fairly sure I wouldn't ride up in them. I'm glad you had such a good day - and free admittance, can't beat that.
I enjoyed your colourful pictures of the fall fair. They are a lot of fun and excitement aren't they? Kids love the rides and treats and adults enjoy the exhibits. Enjoy your vacation in the mountains!
It looks like you are having a wonderful time . . . take a break from blogging and just enjoy life :) It's good to just be free to enjoy!
So colorful and happy! Looks like so much fun! Enjoy your time! xo Karen

Hi Diane,
Well that looks like some good, old-fashioned fun! I love fairs! I am heading to a Vintage Fair soon! Can't wait! Looks like you and your hubby are enjoying yourselves! Keep it up dear friend!

I love fall fairs!! I haven't been to one yet this year, and it kind of looks like I might miss out completely. Thank you for sharing your photos so I feel like I had a little visit anyway. I enjoyed your last post to on the "prims" shop! Do you know I couldn't figure out what "prims" meant on someone else's blog until I read further. I'm not sure that people call this stuff primitive here in Canada, or maybe I'm a bit out of the loop ;)
Enjoy your week!
Wendy
Cotton Candy, oh my, yes, I can smell it. :-)) My favorite.
I love the bright fair colors in your photos.
