You’ll all be glad to know, we finally put up a new light fixture in our bathroom.
We thought we needed to decide if we were going to change some of the other fixtures and colors but we decided to buy something…anything! lol Of course it was a compromise from the beginning. As soon as you stand there with all of the choices, you realize you are not going to leave with your first choice.
But now that it is up, I am thrilled! I think it’s perfect and looks so nice with the slate blue and bright whites.
Of course hubby had to do even more to make me happy.
He surprised me with this new light fixture in my tub. He said that as soon as I fill the tub with bubble bath…and get in…then SWITCH IT ON!
It will be ‘mood lighting’. What do you think? Maybe I’ll just switch it on before I hop in the tub, just to see how pretty it looks!

I love your new light fixture but I had to wonder if your husband was trying out for Snapped on the Oxygen Channel.( If you are not a fan like me, it is about spouses who kill each other. Usually it is the woman who snaps! Which does not surprise me at all.lol)

Diane, I love the new fixture over the sink. Your bathroom is nice. I have the smallest bathroom I have ever had...I think, wow, just how small were people during the fifties. When we fix our bathroom up that is the type of lighting that we want above our sink. You had me going too about the light in the tub. HA! HA!
Your bathroom is beautiful! I can only wish for such a room. The light fixture on the wall is gorgeous. As for the one in the tub... You really had me going with that one. I said to myself, "Isn't that going to electrocute her?" Ha, ha, ha!

Love love love your lights - of course I do - they are very similar to the ones our son put in my bathroom a couple years ago - we seem to have such similar tastes. Our house is chaotic right now with the painter working on both our kitchen and bathroom. I have lots of little nautical touches in our tiny bathroom, but when we are finished, I am going to add one more. I love the sailboat you have on the shelf and I need to make one from driftwood for our bathroom.

Oh Diane, I was shouting at the screen "are you serious?!!!". Firstly because of the obvious element of electrocution in the bath (I had thoughts of you and hubby not getting on :-) ) and secondly, what if you sat on it!!!! You did make me laugh!!
