We both remember when this giant bird was on the endangered list. How wonderful it is to watch the soar toady. Beautiful photographs.
I remember seeing those at the space center in Florida. Their nests are enormous. Great photo.

Hello Diane!:) Wow! what a great opportune moment, I would be soaring high all day, if I had seen the Eagle, and taken photos like these.:)

Great pic Diane, these guys are as common as crows in our neck of the woods, we have a nesting pair that raises a family each year on the hillside behind us. So much fun watching the eaglettes learn how to maneuver those wings! Deb xo
WOW! Diane I'm so thankful you had your camera at the ready (good birder that you are)!
They are such a majestic bird aren't they and you must have got such a thrill when you sighted him.
Have fun in beautiful Florida this week my friend - any hikes planned for you both?
Hugs
Shane
PS we must do another postcard soon, having said that I;m working every day for the next couple of weeks after that I'll email you. x
Beautiful shots of the eagle! I also like your new header. Amazing photo!
Oh what a thrill! So glad you and your hubby walked out when you did!
These are nice pictures of the eagle, Diane. It's really hard to get the big birds (hawks, eagles, geese, seagulls) while they are in motion, but I think you succeeded!
Have a lovely day.
