Mending fences...someone has to do it!

Which do you prefer? The brown wood or white?

Good morning, Pretty horse farms. I like both the brown and white fences. Happy Thursday, enjoy your day!

Delightful fences, my friend. I think I like the white fence the best. Maybe it's because I dream of having a Victorian house with a white picket fence around it :)

Hugs and joy to you!

I always see dollar signs when I look at those miles and miles of board fences. LOL I prefer the white, as long as someone else is painting them. :-) Have a wonderful day, Diane! xo

Diane, You came up with a good question.. I like white fences where it never snows...and brown where it does snow, because you can see them better. That is one long fence I do not want to paint. I remember helping my mom stain her fence..I related the story of Tom Sawyer to her..she had never heard it, about white washing the fence. We laughed so hard once we were done..I told her she had tricked me into doing the job. Blessings to you, xoxo,Susie

Gorgeous clouds! Never gave it much thought-- brown or white fencing. Guess it depends on the landscaping and out buildings.

White...cool style of fence.

Those are long fences! I like the white for its crispness and the way it stands out against the landscape, but I like the brown for the way it blends into the landscape. Hard to choose. If I had to, I'd have the white fence and someone else to paint it!

As many of the comments I like either of the fences. In my state our thoroughbred horse farms have either and what I like is the continuity of the fences. All one color or another. My header is a photo of one of our most famous farms.

Nice fences. I don't mind brown or white, either is just fine. I liked the various trees by the fences, especially the palm tree.

What beautiful farms and fences! I have always loved the dark fences - I don't know why - they just seem to blend in better with the landscape, I think. Hope you have a lovely day. x Karen

Nothing wrong with either one, but I like the dark one best.

I don't think anything is more beautiful than a white fence around an acreage. Great photos,

I like them both as long as they don't mix them! LOL!

I guess it depends on the buildings the fences go with whether I prefer white or brown. I do know that that sky looks like it might have been fun to watch!

I like white fences. I wish we had a white board fence here, but too costly to install it. And yes, who mend it?

Wow - that is a lot of fencing. I prefer the white - so sparkling and bright - but hard to maintain. In California we had a white picket fence and I painted it all by myself - it sure seemed to grow longer and longer the more I painted.

I'll have a doll post on Wednesday - I got the cutest thing today at a thrift shop. Can't wait. Will I see you on Wednesday my friend?
