Wednesday Wee Ones and One Tiny Wee One

I haven't been playing with my dollies much. The weather is so gorgeous at this time of year, that we spend more time outdoors. But I managed to get these girls into some pretty white outfits.
Now they just need a little heart banner to hold. (it's on my 'to make' list)

I made this little white gown out of eyelet.

We got in our 8th hike for January on Sunday afternoon and saw this critter. Never saw one of these on our hikes and we almost walked right by him, he was so tiny and perfectly still.

He got curious about hubby's walking stick here.

I got the ID books out when I got home and at first I thought he was a tiny cotton mouse. But then he was dark gray so we determined he must have been a young house mouse lost in the prairie.

He looked so very cute...

but not cute enough to bring him home and give him a house to live in! haha

The white stuff is sand....not snow and I'm including him in my 'wee ones' today!

JoAnn and I are both showing off our dollies pics today.

Visit her blog HERE.

Don't forget to take time to PLAY!!!
AND get outside when you can!

You have inspired me to get out some of my dolls and have a tea party! These three are so adorable and the pretty white dresses are so sweet. Love the tiny cups too. How nice you are getting a lot of hikes in. Mine are on the treadmill until our weather improves. Little critter wouldn't have come home with me either! Enjoyed your pics……..Happy day.

diane, Some times you are so funny....I wish we live near one another...I love to laugh and what you said about that little mouse not being so "cute" you would take him home cracked me up. I will have to post about my daughter pet mouse one of these days. I loved the dolls and their sweet outfits. Hope you are enjoying every pretty day. Blessings to you, xoxo,Susie

He definitely qualifies as a "wee one". I think he looks cute outside, maybe not quite as cute if I saw him inside.
Your dolls, on the other hand, look very pretty in their white gowns.

The white dolls' dresses are beautiful. The little mouse is super cute! I actually first thought the sand was snow - thank you for clarifying.

Hi Diane!

I am so happy I decided to visit some friends' blogs today. Those little princesses look so nice in their white outfits. I love the fabric, we call it 'broderie Anglaise' and also the ribbons and flowers. I wish I was a doll.
The little cotton mouse looks so adorable. You were right to resist his cuteness attack and not bring him home.
Take care!

I enjoyed that line, "not cute enough to bring him home".
A-Men to that!!!
Have a lovely day.

Oh the girls are just too cute - I love all the eyelet. Such sweet little outfits. The mousie looks almost small enough to be their pet - so wee. Have a happy week my friend - and enjoy the weather while you can.

I've been hanging out in some of your doll clothes Pinterest boards lately. I still have those naked dollies and they need some clothes. The eyelet dress is beautiful.

Mousie looks pretty cute outside. Inside, they turn into monsters.

He is so cute. And so are your dolls. You are an inspiration for the importance of play time in our grown up lives.

So cute. Love the white eyelet. I have a large piece of cloth that I am going to use to a some dresses. I started a dress this morning, but the material is faded on the fold. I didn't notice until I pressed out the skirt piece. Darn. I may take it back to JoAnns for a refund. Love the little glasses, too. So sweet and cute. I thought at first your critter was a chinchilla. Cute none-the-less.

The little eyelet gown that you made is adorable. I do think that nothing is sweeter than a child dressed in white eyelet, be she a real child or a doll. The mouse is cute but not in my house.

Such adorable dolls. The middle one looks like my daughter when she was four or five.

I think I like the dolls more than the mouse (although he IS cute . . . as long as he's outside!).

Your girls are gorgeous....The mouse, not so much lol. What fun to make doll clothes, I have not done that in 100 (Or so) years, the eyelet dress is so cute

Precious itle outfits and I love eyelet. I also like the "spectacles" on the middle doll. What a cutie "country mouse"....but you're right....not in the house!
