I was so happy to find these vintage children's books at the library recently. ('for sale' in the lobby)
The Buddy books were very neat and I found a place for them on the shelves around the tv. I mixed them in with some of the pottery I have on display.

I love vintage books and especially vintage children's books....but I had not heard of the Buddy books. They look wonderful. Enjoy that sunshine and warm air!

I do love vintage children's books. This series is unfamiliar to me. Do you plan to read them?
Diane, The picture of all the kids on the pony took me back in time. Our 6th grade teacher took our class to her farm and about 3-4 kids rode the horse at the same time. LOL. I love seeing books of old and thinking how very simple life once was. Emma is here with me and OMG she has grow so tall. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

My hubby's childhood nickname was Buddy and I've picked up a couple of the Buddy books at estate sales for him. It was such a fun surprise to see your post this morning... Thanks for making me smile!!!
I've not heard of the Buddy books, but they make a great addition to your shelves. Clothbound books are the best!
The Buddy books look like they would be fun reads for a child. I found an old book at our church book giveaway and will share it soon. The illustrations make me smile.

Those books look darling!! I have several old readers that I have picked up at various places. They remind me of the good old days.
The graphics and drawings in the old children's books are so nice. I have some that have shiny coloured paintings in them. Some of my books are almost 100 years old too. We're having a snowstorm here today. Enjoy that Florida sunshine Diane. xx Pam
My hubby has a number of books from when he was a kid, and Buddy books are among them.
Great find on the books! Not familiar with those particular ones but i love all old childrens books...just another thing we have in common. Its chilly here today.. Diane, I've not heard of the Buddy series before but I am sure that they are delightful! I love vintage books. The stories are so sweet and generally have a life lesson to their stories!

Yes, I love vintage books. They are one of the few things I can never pass up at a yard sale or thrift store. Your Buddy books are wonderful, and they look great with all the colors on your shelves. xo
