Today let's shop at 'Born Again Country'!

I've had so much fun shopping in Dunnellon, FL lately. It's about 15 miles away so it's an easy drive and filled with wonderful shops.

This one has handmade things galore.

The lady I met makes the hand painted items. She said she has a couple of ladies that sew and bring in many of the other things.

I love everything and bought a few note pads and a couple of things to give me ideas for my own projects. (I'll share them soon!)

I sure love beautiful quilts!

And friendly people!!!

Don't you love to explore shops that are a little 'out of the way'? I've seen this one from the main road but had never driven over to find it. I'm so glad I did! I'll be back! Wanna come?

Lovely store! I would feel the same way you did about it, except that not being crafty at all I would just have to buy ...rather than get good ideas! (Probably the store wouldn't mind that ...;))

Hello Diane!
Thanks for taking us along with you in this lovely shop. I have never been able to get out off a shop empty handed when the owner or people working there were friendly. I am talking of really and sincerely friendly people, not the pretended friendliness of those who just want you to purchase something or get lost.
Keep having fun! And take good care of yourself!

Diane, what a lovely shop to visit. We were at my neighbor's house yesterday and her quilts are so beautiful and perfectly sewn. Her choice of colors are fabulous.

You didn't leave that sweet Raggedy Ann behind, did you? Cowboy stuff is always fun to see and to decorate with.

I do love shopping in that type of shop. We have them all over our town. We are a big tourist town and our streets are filled with folks all spring and summer and fall. I have not visited them all but have plenty of time.

My friend Mary would love this place. She's crazy for all things horses and cowboys. And I would love that planter with the hearts. Looks very Swedish. A great place.

A lot of charming and interesting items in this shop. My sister and I used to love country décor way back when, and every time I see delightful country shops, I still smile. The raggedy ann dolls are always cute. :)
