Well, actually we were moved in…and then we had to move out…oh and then we had to move back in again! haha!
So if I haven’t been around to visit lately, that’s my excuse.
What a MESS!!!
It all starts with a long boring story about the carpet in the sewing room getting damaged. I won’t bore you with the details but it required moving almost everything out of that room.
Then after a couple of weeks the carpet men came and put in new carpet! YAY! They did a GREAT job!
And then it was time to move back in.
If it looks like a LOT of interesting sewing and craft supplies JUNK, it IS! But I love having lots of things to work on when it’s HOT like it is now.
So this week, it’s been all about moving back in!
Of course I felt the need to go through a lot of things to get rid of or donate. And then nothing ever wants to go back where you had it before.
So it’s been a challenge, to say the least.
But at least I had help from a few ‘wee ones’.
And hubby let me know when it was time to call it a day.
I hope you’ll visit JoAnn! She’s showing off her cute dolls HERE! The new wardrobe is headed to Sweden!
Shelley is playing dollies with us today too. She has her dolls dressed in old baby clothes! So precious! Visit her HERE!
And Candy has beens sewing pretty new clothes for her dolls. She is so talented! Visit her HERE!
And remember! Don’t work ALL the time!
Take time to PLAY!
(and I’ll TRY not to rearrange things AGAIN! I’m DONE!!! Updated : I’ve been back in there working AGAIN today! I can’t STOP myself! lol)

Hello, you do have a great craft room. I hope things are back to normal soon. Enjoy your day and the week ahead!
Well what a bummer Diane!! So glad you got everything back in place. We all need our creative outlets.
Diane, I know exactly what you are talking about...the finding a place for things once they've been sorted or moved. Yikes. But thankfully you have a wonderful new carpet. It will eventually work out just right. Enjoy my friend. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
Oh friend, you have been busy! I'm so glad everything worked out and your craft room is back in working order. Anf I know I've said this before, but your craft room is darling!
Have a splendid day. Hugs!
I am smiling at your room! I have one and had to do some rearranging and nothing is going back in like it should. Too much stuff? Probably but I do love it all. Big Hugs!!

Wow - terrific job getting everything done - I have been over the photos about five times - so much to see - so many cute friends that live in there. Do the get out the crafting things when you are done for the day? Oh the fun they could have with scissors and paste. Hee Hee - Have a happy week my friend.
It's so nice to see your special room
I love all your goodies
and knowing I'm not the only gal with lots goodies in our studios
Hello Diane, always love visiting you. I'm sorry I don't visit as much as I once did, times has changed for me some these days, but I'll never forget you my friend and all your precious wee ones. I've always dreamed of coming to your beautiful home and camping out in your wonderful doll room ;) I think I'll go put up a post for Wednesday Wee Ones Blessings ♡
Thats how it goes sometimes but if you're anything like me you probably had fun going through all your things and rearranging them. Those bunnies on your shelf are adorable.
xx Beca
Diane - That sounds like what I am going thru. Sorting and purging and putting up. I have a hard time getting rid of my craft stuff. But, just think how nice and organized it will be when you start using it again.

Oh that looked like a huge job. I hate tackling projects like that but I'm always happy and pleased when it's done. You have lots of fun stuff in there.
Quite a chore, but I think it's good to do a major "go-through" once in awhile. And I agree about having "stuff" to create with when it's hot (or too cold)-- like today! Have fun!
Oh wow you have been busy Diane. That is nice that you have new carpeting and rearranged everything. The room looks great!! I hope you will have time to rest up a bit from all of that!! LOL! Take care and enjoy the rest of the week. Julie xo
so very sorry
It looks to me like you did not have much time to play this past week. It will be nice for you to have everything organized when sit back down to start sewing in the near future. I love your sewing machine. They are so fancy now. And it appears that you have a thread collection to drool over. (I love thread!!!) When I was at Hobby Lobby this morning all of the Coats thread was moved to the mark down section and marked at about 65% off. The new line of thread is Sew-ology (of course). You betcha I got lots of marked down Coats thread in tangerine, lime, and turquoise and golds. Perfect timing for starting my Ola' Brasil dresses the I downloaded for free at Lee and Pearl.
I know just what you mean. I do the same thing. If I have to clean a room...I clean a room. I did that this winter with our bedroom. It simply started by washing the walls...then I went crazy and cleaned and sorted and donated. :-)
What a great sewing room you have. Mine is just a sewing corner (of the room), lol. Good to see the Wednesday Wee Ones again. I posted my Kelsey in a new outfit earlier this month.
What a time you must had moving all your things, I admire your organization:). And thanks for your fun comment about my bunny Lucy! I enjoyed it so much.
Moving back in takes more time than moving out. Handling all of your pretty and interesting things is what does it.
Moving and reorganizing is a big job, but so worth it in the end! Bet you're loving the new carpet and clean organized space.
I wish I could move everything out of a room and just work on it but I have furniture that I can not move by myself so there you have it! Love the "caution" sign! LOL!
