I shopped for you ‘GIVEAWAY’!!!

Well, it was a hard job, but someone had to do it!

I went to all my favorite shops in the Asheville, NC area and bought something at each one to send to one of you! (I wish I could send everyone something!)

giveawayDSCN2620

First I went to Mast General in downtown Hendersonville and bought you a pair of hiking socks (I bought myself some too and I love them!)

(taken right outside the store)

They are made right here in NC and perfect for walking shoes or lightweight hikers.

Then I went to Honeysuckle Hollow and Jan was happy to see me. She has so many unique things in her store and I always find pretty things.

DSCN2511[4]

She had this Lavender Vanilla soap, made by Essential Journeys in Asheville, NC! YAY!

DSCN2623

I stopped at LuLu’s consignment (a couple of times) and bought something for the holidays!

And then I drove out to A Day in the Country

and found this beautiful journal.

I tried to think if I had a theme going and the best I could do was this…

You can put on the socks and go for a brisk walk, come home and write all of your info in the journal (where you went, how far, your time, if you saw anything interesting, etc), and then take a refreshing shower with the scented soap. Oh and since you were so good to get your exercise, you can go in the kitchen and bake something ‘low cal’ and use the potholder! hahaha! LOW CAL? What’s that?

Anyone can enter this giveaway! Just leave me a sweet comment and you will be entered.

Is that easy enough? I mean I did all the hard work…all that shopping and everything!

I’ll choose a winner on Friday, December 2nd!

Good Luck!

Hi Diane,
I LOVE your giveaway BUT I will let someone else have the pleasure of winning. I have just gone through the whole 'packing up my stuff to go to the warehouse' so I am 'spare and bare' here now (for me)....besides...IF I won I would feel the need to HIKE and right now I am just too darned tired! lol xo Diana

ps. Good job doing all that hard work for your readers!

Very thoughtful gifts. When I think of things that my wife would love, it would include all of these. Very sweet!

Very nice idea! And shopping local is good for the economy. A lot of people complain about jobs going overseas and then go to the discount store and fill their cart with stuff from China!
